In an era of screens this device is an excellent alternative! I wish they would make more devices like this. If you have a dinosaur lover, this is an amazing gift. My son is almost 7 and he has enjoyed playing with this since he got it on Christmas. You can enhance the strength and intelligence of the dinosaurs for a more interesting battle. If you are not a screen family, this is a great alternative.
