There are so many ways to connect devices to this tv. It has multiple hdmi ports so my son no longer has to switch the cord between the xbox and his pc. He really likes it and it is the perfect size for his desk. For me, the most important thing is how sturdy it is. He cracked the screen on his previous tv because it fell forward while he was comnecting his laptop. Hopefully this ome lasts a good long time.
For $70, its an excellent tv. The picture quality is good and the menu is easy to navigate. My only complaint, as is often the case with these lower end TVs, is the audio. It has good volume, but limited adjustment on the equalizer. For the price, its about what you would expect, so Im not complaining much. Still, I would think you would get better audio from JVC. Its a good tv, though, and I recommend it.
I guess I expected the tv to be a bit bigger. Im used to monitor screens. But it is a nice size for the bedroom and smaller living room we have. It set up easily, started scanning the channels immediately, and hooked up to our cable quickly. The resolution was nice and its light to manage. Good quality for the price!
Easy installation, used HDMI cable to pc (using for pc monitor). Good clarity (720p) and no flickering. Movies, especially wide screen, display very well, crisp and no drag. NOTE: I use headphones to watch/listen to videos. If you plan on using this for more than a small room tv, the audio may be too low and need a boost from external speakers. It's working great for my needs.
I bought this small TV at a great price, so I can't complaint too much about its shortcomings. It has a great picture, although a narrow viewing angle. The picture looks great if you are looking at it straight-on, but if you're looking at it from an angle, the picture quality starts degrading, especially the color. The speakers also leave a bit to be desired. You could attach external speakers to it, like computer speakers. I would also have liked more information when clicking on the guide button. It only shows you what's upcoming on the particular channel you're viewing, but it doesn't show a grid displaying all your local channels, like some TV's do. But, as I mentioned at the beginning, it's a good TV for the price.
It is great and cheap tv, perfect for kiddos and spare bedrooms. My rokus say they can force 1080p even tho tv says its on 720p so thats cool. Only downside is there is only one button on the TV, which means you loose the remote and your kinda fudged.
This TV for the price is pretty awesome as far as easy set up, clarity of picture is amazing. And our Roku hooked right up to it. The price is awesome as far as picture quality ! The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 star, is the speakers are not the best, the sound seems a bit like its coming out of a hollow box. Its clear but just has a weird like echo sound to me. But not anything I can not get used to.
I bought this for $69; amazing as a 23" set in 1970 cost my family $700! It comes set for store display; you have to reduce contrast and color or everything looks like a bad movie in colorization. The worst aspect: it comes wrapped like the Hubble Telescope. Adhesive wrap is everywhere and you will be saying nasty things when you finally undo the packaging.
Picture is pretty great but the audio is just awful. I just can't figure out what's going on. I've tried every setting and nothing seems to make a real difference. Sounds like it's echoing/under water.
I can't believe this tv has JVC on the front panel..I dont understand why a company would knowingly make something this bad and actually sell it. I understand the low price doesn't get you much however having the white fonts on screen appear pink should not be a tradeoff the low price..I calibrated this tv 3x with 3 different programs..and as for it being only 720..on a 24 in tv 1080 would be barely visible..720 is just fine..Mac mini,Roku,Firestck all failed to produce even a decent or watchable picture..everything looks like its 480 with pink fonts of course..Had it about a week..im determined to see if I can somehow find any use for this abomination..
