Picked this set up today, and the set up was really easy. It fit beautifully set back on a desk with a hutch. Given that it was only a 720P, the clarity and sharpness is excellent. The sound quality is amazing! I had to set it to low. The medium setting was too loud. I am using it strictly through Roku, for it was place in a den/guest room that has a cable connection, but no box. I am familiar with Roku, so navigating it wasn't an issue. I cannot comment on gaming since I am not using it for that. Since it is not connected to a cable box there is no standard type remote. That takes a little getting used to, but not a deal breaker for me. All in all, I would highly recommend it.
I love the display.picture is great... But I havent familiarized my self with the whole "ROKU" yet.. But i can watch my Netflix showsin my room..love it
I bought this TV for $88 when everyone was having their own version of "Prime Day" to put in my bedroom. It arrived on time in the original packaging, completely undamaged. I've had it for about a week now and I must say the picture quality and sound are great. It has plenty of apps including Xfinity stream, which allows me to watch the cable TV that I pay for without having to rent another box from Xfinity. If you are looking for a medium-sized TV, I definitely recommend this one.
I would definitely recommend this TV. You can choose what apps you want, also has games you can download. Great vibrant picture. 10/10
JVC and Roku are awesome. Picture is so clear and perfect. Set up was so easy the tv tells you what to do for it to work. very nice
This is for my RV and i like most features. It has 3 HDMI, i usb, 1 AV in, and a cable connection for the roof antenna. The speakers are facing down. This is a very light tv! I has a power saving mode. The only down side to this tv is that the wall mounts on the back. The top hole is closer to the bottom of the tv than the top. Once mounted on the pivoting mount i have the tv was way to high to fit in its proper space. I would suggest moving the mounting holes to a more centered location on the back. View the photos of the back. Otherwise, five stars. Seems a good fit for my RV. I have a 300 watt inverter to power it at times.
Bad tuner for OTA stations. Channel scan found only 1 local network channel group, a PBS channel group, and a bunch of religious stations. The exact same antenna hooked up to my 2-year-old low-end Vizio 42" TV pulls in all local network affiliates (NBC is iffy, but their tower is in a different direction) and most of the local independents. Roku features work OK, but channels and their guides are slower to load than on the Roku Streaming Stick attached to my main TV. No complaint about picture; sound is acceptable (about as expected for a small TV.)
I was unable to actually use the TV at all. I completed the activation process three times and each time (after being powered off and back on) it completely forgot everything and just started asking to be activated again. Complete waste of time messing with this junk.
Beware! When I followed the onscreen instructions to install roku, the message on the screen instructed me to call a number for assistance. It turned out to connect with scammers who got $139.99 for a lifetime subscription to roku. they said the tv could not be used otherwise.
The remote on this tv has NO NUMBER KEYS so there is no way to go to a channel directly. I bought a universal remote with numbers but it would not sync with tv. I bought TWO of these tv's and haven't taken the second one out of the box. I'll probably return both as not having the channel selector is unacceptable
