I got this for my boyfriends birthday, It came preassembled in the box. super easy to take out and place where he wanted. If you dont care about them being places in the little stands you could easily fit up to 10 in here. The lock box is a seperate key which we liked.

GREAT PACKAGING. As a UPS employee for 33 years I have never seen a product packaged so well. The safe it self was just what I was looking for. I just wanted something to secure my shotguns without the big price tag. PASSWORD SETTING. The only problem I had with the safe was programming. The directions say hold set button for 1 second. Its basically a quick tap on the button. I was holding it to long. I recommend this safe.

In buying a security product its very important that you have acces to the manufacturor. WIthout access the most minor issues can be impediments to the safe and se cure operation of the product. This is the case with my purchase of a Kavey 5-6 gun safe. Unfortunatly the product did not contain the documentatioon needed to set up the safe. What I need is a copy of that info Emailed to me. Lacking access to the manufacturer has cost me several hours and many phone calls to Walmart and Kavey. Wallmart does not have this info and vannot even provide a wortking telephone number to Kavey Inshort this simple issue has cost time and money for the contractor I selected to install the product. If anyone has access to a Kayve employ can they please contact me ASAP

It was received damaged and couldn't get the door open but I fixed it. It's workable and functional for the task. The setup instructions had drastic typos and was missing key information. After experimenting until I got it right, I'm pleased with it. They need a technical writer for their manuals.

Well, I would give it a higher rating, but when we received our gun safe, it didn't have the inner lockbox. I have reached out multiple times for almost a month, and we have yet to hear back from anyone.

the finger print doesn’t work securely. Any finger can open this safe. That is a big security issue, and terribly unsafe! I’m very upset about this. A child opened my safe. That was the main reason for purchase, to secure firearms from children. This needs to be recalled!!!!! And I don’t know how to return or communicate with this third party seller. WHAT A SCAM!

I should have read the reviews before purchasing, as it seems like a lot of customers are getting the wrong item. The safe we ordered had a lock box at the top, this one does not. We would return but we already lugged this thing up three sets of stairs and it is very heavy. So I guess it will have to do. Other than that, it seems to be an okay safe. It just looks like a locker with a lock on the front.

Very cheap quality. All made from a single panel aluminum and very fragile. Came damaged and bent in several places. Packaging was in great shape so the damage was from the manufacturer. Also full of torn pieces. See images below

This gun cabinet is paperweight! The delivery person carried it on his shoulder, I picked it up and carried it to my car by myself without problem. Then carried upstairs on my shoulder too... So it's really a joke, can probably protect your possessions from a toddler at best! Any determined thieves will take it away or open it in seconds... Also, the size is not suitable for 5 guns!!! Very misleading! If you have rifles with scopes and/or magazines, you can probably fit 3 of them, at 45° angle, because you can't close door. The door also doesn't open even 90°, so very inconvenient to take out what's inside. The door is thick about 2 inches and recess inside the cabinet, taking additional space! Whoever designed the cabinet, didn't have any idea what he was doing and even a common sense! The only good thing is the convenience of the fingerprint reader, so you can open it with a touch of your finger there... I ended up using it just to store ammo out of sight. I can't with a clear conscience put a gun in it, ANYONE can pray it open and take away whatever you put, and possibly steal the whole thing with your possessions inside... Now I have to spend more money to buy a REAL safe!

They sent me the wrong safe I was supposed to have the biometric fingerprint safe but that’s not what they sent me. The safe is also very cheap and light. It is so light in fact when you open the door the weight from the door makes it tip over! You have to anchor it to the wall in order for it to be secure.
