Sportsman Gasoline 4000W Portable Generator

I used one (borrowed), , 2hrs, every day for a year and it is still running strong, so I bought one just like it. Not the quietest but tolerable . Starts every time on the second (easy) pull. Downside, they don't put fuel gauge on them anymore.

This generator keep a 6,000 btu a/c my refrigerator and our phones and lamps running for over 6 days after Hurricane Idalia came through. Life saver . Ran over 14 hours on a 3.6 gallon tank of gas running all those things . Wonderful item easy to assemble and crank !

i got it delivered within 3 days. nice! out of the box it fired right up, no issues. not to heavy and small size made it easy for me to store the little machine. i did try it out some and im impressed. its not loud as alot gens are. due to me living in duplex that is a great deal. but if someone asked me if its worth $200 to have incase power goes out for a short time. maybe even longer. id would recommend this to anyone.

Generator started on first pull I bought this for my 27 foot camper and every thing work in my camper including the air condition and mairco wave which I was very surprise reading one review they said it would work for there air condition in there camper but mine work. I'm very happy and would recommend this especially the price.

THIS GENERATOR ROCKS 🤘🤘🤘. Im doung the off grid thing for a while and i run this generator from 7 in the morn to 10 at night.I LIVE COMFORTABLY, ac,fan,mini fridge. 10 to 13 gallons of gas very 7 days,i change the oil every 7 days. This generator WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN,as long as you take care of it, it will take care of you 😉.

Generator was delivered upside down. The box is marked "fragile" and "this side up." It was dumped off of the truck onto the ground. Since it had been inverted, oil leaked from the generator. It had to be cleaned and checked before being put into service. Never again.

I've had this generator for a few days now, it does the job but if you have an RV and it pulls a heavy load this generator won't handle it. It has a 30 Amp RV Outlet but has trouble starting the 15000 btu AC on my RV. My primary use is to run the AC and charge my battery bank. I would recommend this generator, but would recommend a 24 hour light load burn in time as it seems to working better after the first 24 hours of use. Still has a bit of a hard time starting the AC with other AC equipment running. Would not recommend running a coffee pot or microwave when the AC is starting or running. On the bright side you can't ask for a better price for a similar sized generator Overall I am satisfied, but would probably purchase a 4750+ watt generator if I had to do it over again for use with the RV.

I ordered this generator a couple of days ago and it was due to arrive Friday but i received it a day early. Tbh i hate receiving this through Fedex because their drivers are terrible and i always have trouble receiving my packages. I actually ordered a generator 1/28 they lied to me 3 or 4 days like it was being delivered but it never made it and the roads were good 😒. But this driver, Christian, was great! Anyways i have a fews things plugged to it including my full sized fridge and its doing great so far 🙌😁.

I purchased a gen4000-ss generator. I followed the quick start guide and started the generator. It started fast and ran great. I checked the voltage and it was correct. As soon as I plugged in a small freezer, the generator lost power on one of the duplex receptacles. The other duplex receptacle had power and the small freezer ran fine. I called the help line and told them what it was doing. The lady I talked to said she would tell the tech what happened and would get back with me. I left my phone number and waited for there call, which never came. I had to fix it my self!! When I took the cover off the wire to the first receptacle was loose. I put it back on and also found other loose connections. Needless to say its now up and running like it should. By the way I am an electrician, so I knew what i was doing!! If this voids the warranty, so be it! I was going to give you a one star but the generator is running great now, Ill give you just three stars for not getting back with me.

Bought this generator during the summer and today decided to set it up for winter power outages. Pulled the cord and it not only did not start, the cord would not rewind. Upon inspection found that the spring to operate the rewind was not made properly. It had no hook on one of the ends to connect it and was just hanging loose.
