Kaytee® Aspen Small Pet Bedding 1200 Cubic Inch

I am making a compost bin from scratch and I needed organic material to start the process and this is my first choice, I would like to add that I have used this for mice / my chub rocks in the past and it was the healthiest choice and back then had I known about composting I would have used their used bedding in my compost bin .. I this is helpful

Utilize this bedding for my snakes and for the mice I breed. It is reasonably priced, maintains order control longer and is not harmful to either species it is used for as bedding. Price is much better then most competitors and although substrate is not finely cut, it works fine in both tanks.

I have been using this litter for my Mini Rex bunnies for several years. I buy the 8 cu.ft. bail now. It is compacted into a very firm bail that results in much more litter than other brands.

This is my go to for bedding for my guinea pig, she loves chewing and playing with the big pieces in it. The price is reasonable and very much worth it!

Nice bedding nice and clean. Last product I bought from another Co. had junk in it and I got slivers when trying to loosen it up.

The pine bedding is a good product to use for any small pets,has a nice clean smell,n is in the right size package for easy storage.

So dusty and smells horribly. I use the soft and cozy bedding and was very pleased with it as it never caused my hamster cage to ever smell. I decided to try to aspen. I mixed half of my usual soft and cozy and half of this aspen bedding and my whole house smelled like a farm. Even my mom walked into the house and the first words out of her mouth were “your house smells like cats.” We don't have any cats. Its also extremely dusty. I will not buy again and highly do not recommend it.

Know that if you purchase the 3200 cubic inch bag, what you will receive is a 1250 cubic inch bag that "expands" to 3200 cubic inches. Whatever that means. Meantime, you will still have paid as much for 1250 cubic inches as you would on average in a pet store for a 2 liter bag of Kaytee aspen, which is actually 3500 cubic inches, (that "expands" to 4 liters, in case you're interested), and what I expected to get. As an added bonus, if you order enough to get the free shipping, Wayfair will only charge you $16.00 for the privilege of sending it back. This stuff should be sold by weight, no volume. Nonetheless, when your purchase option is 3200, your price is comparable to that volume, your packing slip reflects that volume, that's what you should get.
