Kaytee Critter Trail Run-About Habitat for Pet Hamsters, Gerbils, Mice, and Small Animals

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this enclosure for my oldest hamster, Mr. Whiskers, and I must say I think this is the happiest he's ever been in an enclosure! I think since I've never put him in such a large enclosure he was a little hesitant to use the activities at first but now that he's gotten the hang of it I really do think he loves his new home. There's plenty of space and clean up is actually pretty easy!! I would definitely recommend this habitat to my friends!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect habitat to start with! The kids love it and there's amble room for a small hamster or gerbil. I like how it has additions but it's very easy to clean. It's made of plastic too but my animals haven't been able to chew through it. 10/10.

This is such and adorable design, not only for my little fur-balls, but my children love watching their pets roam around and play in here. This unit is very colorful but transparent so it's easy to watch them as they make their way around. These are so much fun to have and I really recommend to anyone with little furry friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tons of extra tubes and what not to add to a hampster cage so I decided for this one to be my project. There is tons of different little pieces you can add and take and you can customize it to your liking.

I ordered this for my son for Christmas for his hamster. It was fairly easy to put together, but one of the metal clips did break off while peicing together the metal frame. also, the exercise ball on top does not move easily. There's no way my hamster has enough weight to be able to move it on her own. So it's pretty much non-functional. other than that it serves it's purpose as a whole.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super cute! A little hard to put together but my gerbil seems to love it so far. A good quality cage I'm sure will last years. The colorful design adds a nice pop to it and it stands out so much more than the old cage I had, I recommend!

This one was extra challenging to assemble, follow the directions and pay attention to ups and downs as direction matters. This one is not my favorite as there are a lot of connections to check to ensure security. The lookout tower top does not snap together easily which creates a dangerous escape spot. The cage comes in two pieces and bends easily, so be careful when assembling to ensure pieces align properly and don't use too much pressure. I'm glad the tube into the ball is one piece and as of day one the balls is fairly quiet, not squeaking yet. Overall an okay cage... I probably would not pick this one again even though the hamster will love it. Cleaning will be a challenge making it great for hamsters but not great for kids! I like when my 10 year old can handle this all on his own and he will need help with this cage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is fun habitat but was a pain in the butt trying to put together! Part of the plastic pieces actually broke just trying to assemble it. This definitely has the potential to be a great habitat but would be nice if it was easier to assemble.

Running ball does not spin when latched shut. Had to take apart at least once when setting this up due to poor instructions. Overall it appeared to be poorly made and not everything works as it should. Water bottle design is difficult to change also. Would be nice if they added a slidding tray for cleaning it out but they dont.
