My Russian dwarf hammy loved this! It was a bit long and the climb was intimidating at first. But now she has completely got used to it and would run up and down quickly. I would not recommend this for bigger hamsters like Syrian simply due to the weight and supporting issue. But for little mice and gebrils, this will work nicely.

We bought this for our hamster to give her more space in her cage and little did we know at the time, she was pregnant and had seven babies. Once those babies were old enough to climb up the tube, they want to be no place else but this lookout! You do have to make sure its securely attached to the cage as that has been a little tricky to fit in perfectly but once attached its great and secure! Now all seven of the hamsters hang up here and sleep here constantly. I recently bought another cage and am on here now to buy another lookout.

Just not what I expected for the “name brand” of hamster equipment. It did not attach to our cage… %26 I don't know why. You'd think that hamster cage attachments would be universal but I ended up having to super glue the tunnel to the side of the cage. Which ended up getting knocked off… which the mouse 🐁 is somewhere in my house again. I do NOT recommend. Tunnel systems should come with reasonable accessory aversion pieces because this I'd bet is pretty common thing to run into. The fun part is the pierces you get to add on… but you can't because they're not made to fit securely. So upsetting. %26 the tunnels feel like they're going to snap the entire time you're putting them together… 👀😅🫣

The red tube did not attach properly to the blue top portion, and if you try too hard you'll crack the plastic. Will be returning it to my local Walmart.

The pieces didn't fit together well. When we finally managed to get it together we discovered our hamster is much too big for the tubes and can't use it at all. This would be fine for mice or dwarf hamsters.
