I love everything about this bread maker! Originally bought one for my daughter but decided to buy myself one also! The recipe book adds too many ingredients for some breads but to be able to have this machine to make my own bread is divine. It kneads the dough for me to make homemade rolls, it makes jam’s and cakes, pizza dough! It’s everything! Never ever buying store bread again

We've had 3 Cuisinart Convection bread makers and loved them ALL. However, our current machine is showing its age and replacement parts are difficult to obtain. So after careful review, we purchased the KBS bread machine. So far, the bread maker has equaled or exceeded the Cuisinart! The finished bread is crunchy on the outside and moist and fluffy inside. The bucket and paddle only need a quick rinse. The coating on the bucket allows the bread to slide out onto my cooling rack. In addition to the quality of the finished bread, the cycles are shorter. On KBS, the whole wheat cycle is only 3:26 while the Cuisinart is 4:30. The instructions are easy to follow as well as the settings on the machine. As far as value, the KBS is about half the cost of a new Cuisinart. Needless to say, we are very pleased with the KBS and highly recommend it.

This is my first breadmaker. Compared to making bread by hand it's a no brainer to buy this and easily have great, fresh, hot bread. The accompanied manual and recipe book facilitate making a great loaf by just following the instructions. I'm glad to own this product.

This makes perfect bread and provides delicious recipes! I’m a 68 year old man and find it easy to use and clean. In my old age I want to taste homemade bread and this machine does it great. Nothing like the smell of baked bread on a cold winter day!

Love it, had less than a month and made at least 10 loafs in it. Only my first one didn't turn out great, taste was there but it sunk at top at little bit. I'm pretty sure I didn't use enough active yeast on first go. I got to look fancy at Thanksgiving and informed the family Christmas would have homemade bread as well. Ease of use is great, push the start button until you get to the type of bread you are making (regular or quick) and walk away while it works. I've used recipes I found on Pinterest and I've used quick bread mix from Walmart where you just add eggs and water. Both worked out fantastic.

I have already made a Classic white, cinnamon raisin and sourdough bread using recipes from other books I had from my previous machine. The automatic fruit/nut dispenser box is small but the 1st BEEP you can add fruit manually. Machine makes a lot more noise than previous machine but no biggie. I had to put a rubber grip jar opener under a corner as it'll walk across the counter. I am pleased with it thus far.

Cons: 2nd bread machine, not quite as user friendly as previous machine, but not difficult at all. It does not show the stages of baking, which I miss %26 machine overall a little lightweight-tends to move on the countertop. Pros: rectangle, perfect looking loaf Overall, I like the way my bread has turned out %26 I look forward to experimenting with new recipes!

First, if we are talking about the quality of the bread produced, I would give this unit 5 stars. It does a great job. My quibbles are with the instructions and recipes, as well as some aspects of the interface. I felt that I had to dig to find out things. This unit has a fruit and nut dispenser, but what is the maximum amount that I can put into it? If I have a large quantity of an add-in, is there an add-in beep so I can add the "extras" and not use the dispenser? I had to refer to the timing tables in the manual, as this wasn't clearly stated elsewhere. Yes, it does have a beep. By the way, I'm happy KBS lists timing tables, as other machines don't. Yes, I have more than one bread maker-don't judge. The display has a heading for "fruit," but what does this do? Do I have to activate this setting, and if so, how do I activate it? Does it control the dispenser or the beep? Does it alter the program in some way? Who knows, as it isn't explained, and no button activates it. The recipe book is limited and very confusing. The gluten-free recipes utilize the basic bread cycle, rather than the gluten-free cycle. Sometimes you are given two menu options. The Three-Grain bread advises Menu 5/Menu 8; which one should I use? The sweet babka with chocolate swirl recipe suggests Menu 1 and Menu 7. However, this is a filled bread, and it gives no instructions on how to process the dough, as clearly this dough needs to be pulled out, filled, and then the bake function needs to be used, but that is never mentioned. The same can be said of the cinnamon swirl bread. The photo shows a bread that has been baked in a regular pan, not with "menu 2." The photo of the Swedish rye bread clearly shows a free-form bread that you would bake in the oven, not in a bread maker, but it advises menu 5. I would not use the recipe book and go with recipes from other sources. Last quibble. Let's say you set your loaf size to 2 pounds and your crust to dark. Now, you set your menu button to the program you want (basic, whole wheat, etc.). When you do this, the machine will automatically revert to a 1.5-pound loaf and medium crust. This could mess up your bread if you don't catch it. With the above quibbles acknowledged, the machine still did a great job. If you avoid using the recipe book (you can find many recipes on the internet) and understand the interface issues, it is simple to operate (although I still don't know what "fruit" means on the display). It makes a wonderful loaf of bread, and I'm pleased to have this machine, which I think is a good value.

first of all this arrived dented and it didn't happen in transit as the cardboard boxes (2 of them) were not damaged. so it was packed up and sent to WalMart in this condition. secondly it is quite flimsy and I see problems ahead in twisting and removing the break basket using the flimsy wire bail; instructions are to twist the bail to remove the pan. guaranteed that won't last long. the instructions, while written in Chinglish, are fairly understandable but the recipe book is a joke. I am returning it to WalMart for a full refund.

I received this item and opened the box, it was all wrapped like it was brand new. When I opened the top of the machine, there was a cute pink oven mitt stuffed inside along with a plastic measuring cup, and maybe two other small machinery parts, which I never tried to piece together because it already looked used and worn on the inside lifting up the little pan that kneads the dough. I loved the idea of this very much. I automatically just closed it all back up when I could not and did not receive an instruction manual, no warranty slips, no-type of guidance nor was there any recipe booklet as stated. I'm the type of lady who has to take an entire day to review and read everything, watch videos and be a know it all, before even piecing together any new equipment, so that was an immediate pack this thing back up and return it. but the value and all, I really think that this bread-maker could've had the potential to be great.
