Well packed - was already assembled, ready to use. Material was smoothe, the plastic didn't have any imperfections, so it didn't catch as I stretch the compression sock over it. I successfully pulled through the sock the first time. Although I had to pull on the foot to straighten it out completely. It worked great for this senior, a young age 76.
What a big difference. I had total knee replacement and the only time I could take off these compression socks was when I had in-home healthcare so therefore I could only take a shower before they came. Using the sock helper now I can take a shower every day because it's so much easier to put the sock on the injured leg.
I have tried several different sock helpers, and this is the only one that makes putting on compression socks, a breeze!. The ropes handles and shaft are quality made, and I can tell it will last for a long time. The sturdiness of the construction is obvious every time I pull on it to bring my sock up.
The item was bought for an elderly person. The item worked as it should but I cannot get said person to use the item.

It's a God send. I no longer have to cry because I'm frustrated trying to get a pair of socks on. No more cold feet but comfort and coziness instead. Thank you for inventing this gadget. It helps me feel normal again.
Very easy to use with my compression socks
Ordered the sock helper for my 85 yr old father. Took a few tries at first, but he is getting the hang of using it. He is able to get socks on now while seated in a chair without bending down too far.
It is perfect as far as the dimensions go for men's larger feet. However it seems too thin plastic for extended use. Hope it lasts a year with regular use.
Used this iyem for less than 2 weeks and the sock aid started splitting down the center, very poor quality. Would not recommend.
