This stuff works really well. My Birk's look like new again - just need to clean the footbed. Get this if you have cork style sandals that need TLC. Walmart has one of the better prices too.

I used this product to repair the crumbling cork base for my Birkenstock wedge sandals. While it did not fill the holes, it seems to prevent the cork base from crumbling ant further. I was bit concerned if it would give unwanted sheen, but it looks fine now after letting dry completely. I I gave four stars instead of five because I cannot tell if the protection lasts long at this point. Also, it is a bit tricky to apply the product without letting it drip a little. But overall, I am satisfied with the product and would recommend it to seal crumbling cork products.

This helps seal your cork on your birks to help them last longer. It's pretty shiny when it dries initially, but that shine dulls fairly quickly with wear. If you have cracks in your cork, this will not glue them together. I used shoe glue for the cracks and then went over all the cork with this. I'm feeling confident this will help my birks last longer. Easy to apply with applicator brush.

I don't like the way my shoes feel when they dry but I used on canvas it just doesn't fit me right so I'm not going to use it anymore on my shoes

Don't order during winter. Item came in frozen and it was open and used prior.
