Kerastase Renovated Elixir Ultime Oil | Versatile Beautifying Treatment, 75ml

I was lucky to receive a couple of samples of Kérastase Elixir Ultime Hair Oil and my hair has been transformed. I suffer with thinning hair due to my age and was worried that an oil would leave my hair looking greasy but this was not the case. My hair is soft and manageable and has never looked so good. tyvm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hair oil is incredible! It's completely weightless, leaves hair perfectly smooth and gives a stunning "glass hair" shine. The scent is pure luxury with notes of wild camellia and warm sandalwood. Plus, it's a great multi-tasker.

I am a bit disappointed with this new formula the price and the packaging. This is a product I have been using for around 5 years and I have really loved. My last bottle in the OG packaging lasted a while, it ran out, and recently for my bday I treated myself to a new bottle. First thing I noticed is the bottle design is.. not good. The old bottle was also refillable but you decided to put some clanky plastic in glass and make it feel cheap. Then not only has the price risen, but the amount of product is much less. And why does it leave my hair smelling like fried chips the next day? It seems like a bit of a joke, to raise the price that much, take away the amount of product and give us a sub par product compared to the original. Tbh I probably wouldnt look into purchasing this again, I feel like you see us customers as clowns.

This was my number one hair product for many years - now it's all disappointingly changed?!?!? The bottle and volume of oil has decreased with an increase in price - work that one out ?!?! Then more importantly the product itself has changed - not so thick in consistency and not as effective !!!! Why change something that was perfect ?????? Now hunting for a new alternative as it's that bad. Managed to buy some pre loved ones and the difference is clear . Go back to the original formula

I have been using this hair oil for years... it was the best product on the market. I would have given it 10 stars if I could but the new formula is awful. It makes my freshly washed hair look like I have put vegetable oil in it and is instantly greasy and heavy AND the frizz is still there! Please Please Please bring back the old formula. I don't care about the packaging, the fragrance or the price. Why would you change perfection?

I have used different oil and products and decide to try this . Was waiting excitingly and have washed my hair straight when have received it. Applied after to mid length only 2 drops and what a disaster . Dried my hair and my hair is sooooo greasy . I need to wash it again . Now I read reviews elsewhere and apparently the new formula is bad and leaves hair greasy . It's so expensive product and I am fuming

I've been using the Elixir Ultime hair oil for years and always loved the old formula. Unfortunately, the new version feels way too oily. Even though I only applied it to the ends of my hair, it made my hair greasy the next day. Compared to the old ingredients, this new formula just doesn't work for me.

Why they changed the original formula I have no idea. I have been using this for years but the new version is awful, made my hair look really greasy and didn't smooth my flyaway like the old one did so well. It doesn't even smell the same. This should have been given a new name not repackaged x especially at this price point.
