These have worked great! They have kept my clever two year old from being able to open doors. They are hard to initially open, and then install on the doorknob, and when they spin around, they sometimes gets caught in the door. One of ours broke that way. On our one doorknob that has the little turning lock on the back of it, I have to reach in the hole with two fingers to lock/unlock it, and that's a bit tricky. I don't care about these small things, though, because their function outweighs these little inconveniences. I have them on every doorknob in my house, and they work great. I bought another one when we broke the one cover, so I would definitely buy them again, and recommend them.
They were easy to install and work perfectly to keep my kids out of places I don't want them in.
it will keep people out of you stuff thank you.
Great way to keep those busy hands from entering or exiting when danger is posed.
i was looking for a new child proof lock after my 3 toddlers figured out the "regular" round door knob locks and found this. So far only my 4 year old has figured it out, the other two have not so its worth a shot if you have to change the safety locks constantly. 🤦♀️
Hard to open a door with them in place.
These door knobs have done what I needed but the cons I have are that the bottom piece sticks out a little so if it isn't turned away from the door opening when closing the door it gets caught in the door and either causes the door to swing back open or sometimes it will get knocked off the knob. I broke one like this. These are also easy to open. If you have a door knob that turns easily your toddler will figure it out. I have an almost 3 year old who gets in to everything, I put these knobs on my knobs hard to turn but I bought the other kind of safety knobs from walmart to put on all my other doors. Overall, they do work and are easier than the knobs Im used with the open holes you put you fingers in but like I said sometimes too easy and will need to be changed.
Very hard for an adult to open a door with these .
Fits the door fine but the buttons to use as the safety need to be pinched together and then turned and that basically makes the door easier for my 2 year old to open it. She pinches the buttons together with both hands and it grips the knob tight so all she has to do is push it and the door opens. She opens the door easier with these on, do not buy these.
My daughter figured it out in less than 10 minutes. The rubber inside basically makes it grip the doorknob and it opens easily
