Safety 1st No-Drill Deadbolt Lock

My son has autism and has a really bad habit of unlocking the doors, and walking out. It made it almost impossible to get anything done without always checking the door to see if he had escaped. I have very low income, so it would be a bother to get completely new locks added. I was relieved when I saw the Safety First™️ dead bolt safety covers! The price was amazing, and when they arrived, they were super easy to install. No maintenance man necessary or no removal of anything drastic. Thanks a lot! Great product!

This is one of the best childproofing locks for a deadbolt. There is no drilling, nor does it damage the door or lock. It was very easy to install, only taking 5 minutes to do so. My toddler boys always seem to figure out or break the childproofing items I have bought, but this item is hands down the best one out there on the market. Also, the seller shipped out the product faster than expected. I got it in two days instead of waiting a week.

Perfect lock to keep small children from going outside.

Fabulous! My almost three year old can unlock a deadbolt and escaped our house at 6 am while the rest of us were sleeping... Neighbor found her thank God but I knew we needed a remedy ASAP. I installed this myself... Not terribly handy... I had to adjust one of the prongs to connect the unit to the base...We have a Schlage lock and it worked on ours (some have mentioned difficulty with Schlage locks). I have no difficulty using key to lock/unlock from outside... Just be sure to leave in the "open" position and its no problem. It works great for us... Kids (6 & 2) cannot open it... I can with relative ease. Bonus... No damage to our door. Most importantly I can sleep at night knowing my kids will stay in the house. This is a GREAT product in my opinion and experience.

It is very easy to install, and it completely blocks the deadbolt lock, making the process of opening the door extremely difficult for any of my children. Bought this because my three year old has been recently unlocking our backdoor to go outside without our knowledge, and he's completely stopped doing that ever since we installed thisndeadbolt lock.

Easy to install and effective

It works as a child safety lock but its ease of use is sub-par. It's stiff to turn and the latches will slip over the lock often requiring multiple attempts.

If you don't have the exact lock you see in the images above, do not buy this, it will not fit your lock. They don't provide a return-label and they only accept unopened items for returns, so if you open it to try it on your lock and it doesn't fit, no return, cause it was opened. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM.
