As described. Purchased to replace existing alarm. Works like a charm.

i like the design and simple usage, I dislike the durability of this detector because my old one only last for 2 years

Item arrived quicky. Great price and works as advertised. Battery is easy to change with pop down opening.

Need to have one put in the basement and this is what we used hopefully it will be great.

The flip down battery is great for an RV.

The product was just installed. Quality and, therefore satisfaction, will be determined by utility.

Returned this defective smoke detector back to the store. Using the battery that came with the detector, it kept beeping indicating it needed a new battery. Replaced that battery with a new one of my own. Still beeped. I understand that if the detectors are not stored in the proper environment, their sensors can go bad. Buyer beware. I liked the idea of being able to change the battery without removing it from the ceiling. Too bad it did not work.

the smoke detector work relatively fine for 1 year 5 months, and then it started going off very loudly at 6:00 a.m. just once. everybody thought it was just a fluke I wouldn't happen again. spoiler: it happened again and with increasing frequency. instead of just once it happened twice, then 3 times. today it falsely alerted 10 times. not a single molecule of smoke was located but it smugly says fire was detected. terrible product, defective design, wish I could get my money back

Just took the battery out. It kept going off for no reason. We had this for less than one year. We have other smoke and carbon dioxide detectors throughout house with no issues.
