Purchased this item late November for a Christmas gift for my 5 year old son. He used it for 5 days and loved it until it stopped working. It wouldn't charge up. The car doesn't use batteries as there is a wire that plugs into the wall socket and the other end plugs into the car with a usb hub that was supplied with the car. The remote does use batteries, so I changed them thinking it was the batteries, but nothing. No movement from the car. I then emailed the company Kidzlane about my concerns with the car. I sent an email at 11pm at night and they immediately emailed me back the very next morning. I gave them some additional information they requested about where and when it was purchased. They reported that they take pride in their products and believe I had a defective product and mailed out a new car to us. They emailed me a USPS prepaid label to return the defective product. Within a few days we had a new car and I sent them back the old car. The new car they sent has worked perfectly and my son loves it. Great car and absolutely great customer service. I would recommend this product knowing the company takes prides in their products and takes care of their customers.

I just bought this remote control car with a 2 year protection plan. The box arrived damaged but that was probably ups fault. Took me awhile to remove car from box as it is attached with plastic thingies, screws and tape. Nothing was missing. The remote uses 2 AAA batteries. To turn on car you must press button on left side on remote. You will then hear it turn on. If you press it again it will sound a siren and press again for a song. The button on right is to honk horn. It says it gets about a 30 min charge. My kids play with car alot , so far has withstood crashes except rubber wheel was slightly off. It would not run. After closer inspection readjusted rubber wheel and was good to go. I would give 5 stars but have had it less than a month. Oh yeah, the volume on siren is loud and can not be adjusted, parents be advised!

I bought this for my grandson and was so excited for him to have it. But we opened it and got the batteries in and charged up and it wouldn't work, even changed out the batteries. So we emailed the company telling them about it and they responded asking for the serial number and order number, we gave it to them and they never responded back and now it's too late to take it back to the store to get a refund! Very disappointed, if something does not work you should either refund them the money or replace it, not just ignore them. Terrible customer service!!

This was a gift for my grandson and didn't work… I have ordered another one to try it.. need to return this one
