KidKraft Wooden Pirate Sandbox with Canopy, Covered Kid's Sandbox, Blue & Red

This boat is so eye catching. I used a sheet of plywood to make a bottom. Then took and put it on wheels from a wagon. What an amazing fun boat.

This pirate ship sand box is on my covered porch. It is nicer than I expected and well worth the cost. My son loves it and it is enjoyable to look at. I put 7 bags of play sand in it but 5 will do fine. Also comes with nice cover for the sand and you can store toys in bench. Love!

I bought this for my 2 year old and he liked it so much he wanted it in his game room I have read comments about poor quality maybe they got damaged in transit because ours is top notch the paint work the wood and everything else is fantastic ,a plastic inner that keeps your sand nice and dry is supplied the mesh cover the sun cover and the pirate flag all great .

This is very beautiful. We purchased this pirate sandship for my grandsons second birthday. The directions are very easy to follow but takes time to put together. You must remember to apply outdoor finish to the wood to protect it outdoors. We applied 3 coats of finish to all the wood parts. It does come with a mesh snap on cover to protect it from animals while still letting the sand recieve moisture like it's suppose to. Three kids can have a blast in this pirate sandship. All parts were there and nothing was damaged. Looks even better in person when put together than in picture on here.

It is winter so it is still in the box... lol Delivery was fast though and we cant wait until spring to set it up for the grandkids.

Quality materials and it went together well. My daughter (2 1/2 years old) LOVES it!!! We played with it without sand for a couple weeks and it was just as fun with the little compartments for her to put things in and she’d sit and drive the boat. And before sand was in it we moved it around (easily moved with two people) and that helped us decide where we’d like it best. The only downside is (like other reviews have said, too) the snaps for the cover don’t stay snapped well.

Great quality and my son loves it. I wouldn't recommend putting it together alone unless you have a lot of patience and balancing skills.. but the instructions are fairly easy to follow. Looks great in our backyard and its actually a little bigger than I imagined. I used 8-50lbs bags of sand and there was plenty of room for 2-4 more. Bottom line.. Id buy it again.

My son has played with this every day since it was built! It was very simple to put together and I found the instructions to be basic and easily understood. The quality of the wood and the paint are all very good. Now for the bad......The plastic that you put down to seperate the sand from the ground is very flimsy and uneffective and uses poor hardware to secure to the actuall unit....Also had to measure the distance to screw in rivits to secure the cover to the unit....the cover also ripped after being taken on and off twice (the rivits seperate from the cover to easily) Overall the cons are far from bad considering the price! Just may want to plan on a secondary cover and liner.

This was a gift for our grandson who loved it from the putting up of the mast,flag and steering wheel but a nightmare for the parents who had to put it together. Over 50 different pieces. If your not hand look for help putting it together but the results and delight your grandchildren will have is heaven. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

All the paint is already coming off and the wood is not very durable
