KILZ Chalk Style Paint, Interior, Ultra Flat, Blue Juniper, 1 Quart

I bought kiltz chalk paint and repainted the cabinets and had great results. The product covered in one coat!

Other chalk paints left a matte top that felt rough, not KILZ! The paint went on smooth and felt smooth after it dried. It also covered great. I would recommend to anyone who needs to paint furniture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got a can to paint of chalk style paint to paint a wall for the kids to use to draw on and also a wall to leave notes for the kids and the entire family loves it! It gets used every day and has stood up to it.

I like the results I got on my kitchen cabinets. I like the color. Became thick and clumpy at time but that may just be a characteristic of chalk paint. I hear you can add water to abate this issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product to paint one portion of a wall in my kitchen. The paint itself was difficult to spread across the wall. I then had to buy a second can again for a small portion of a wall. After it dried, I applied the sealing wax with a towel how it suggests and it removed some of the paint. After drawing on it and then cleaning off the paint, there is an incomplete clean look to it.

I was excited to try this paint and I come to find out it wasn’t mixed. The job of the consumer is to stir the paint but not to have to mix it. To my surprise there were large clumps of white paint sitting at the bottom of the can. This by only mean that the paint wasn’t mixed properly, but also the color was wrong because a lot of white paint was not mixed in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this as good going on but it doesn’t dry evenly- when after two coats I got it presentable, the polyacrlic was a nightmare. I wish I could strip it and start again but too much work and not enough time. Not pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a fan. I paint a lot of furniture and thought that Kilz paint would be a higher quality chalk paint. Well, I'm going to have to put a 4th coat of the white paint on the table that I am currently painting.
