New Recipe

M January 13, 2026

I'm not enjoying the new recipe as much as the old, but it is not terrible, perhaps a little less sweet? I think it may be a texture thing. I enjoyed the softer texture of the old recipe.

New recipe

Kelli26 January 8, 2026

My family has loved the original Kind peanut butter breakfast bars for so long. The new formula isn't worth buying. The bars are dry and taste like cardboard.

Who asked for this?!

cbrulez January 29, 2026

These used to be my go-to breakfast. I LOVED the chewy, peanut-buttery slow start to my day with Kind. Purchased in my weekly grocery shop without realizing the formula had changed, took one bite and knew something was terribly off. They're now gritty, grainy and far less flavorful. What market research told you we wanted a new formula, or is this actually a cost-cutting measure? Good luck with your sales now, I'm about to see Kind on one of those “50 snacks that used to be a good thing until some c-suite quarter zip looked a spreadsheet and ruined the whole thing and we don't want them back!” YouTube videos. You ruined one of the few things bringing me joy on a daily basis.

Bad New Formula

Tommy January 20, 2026

I used to love the chewy texture of these bars, they were my go-to breakfast that I would eat once a day. But the new formula is not just a downgrade it is a crime against humanity. And no, automated response bot, it isn't just that "this snack wasn't the right fit for your taste buds" it absolutely was a good fit until you ruined it! You took a good thing and made it inedible. It used to be breakfast for multitudes, now it is no better than bird food. You have betrayed the basic essence of this product, and it is now unrecognizable, but perhaps as a foul imitation of what it once was. Please change it back.

New Formula is a major letdown

Blake January 14, 2026

My wife and I have been eating the old formula of these bars for breakfast every weekday for the past 8 years. The new formula, as others have mentioned, is just not very good. Is it edible? Sure, it's just not very good. I will have to find something else to eat for breakfast every day.

New Formula is Horrible

Hmeaders January 5, 2026

The new formula bars are terrible. I can't believe Kind thoughts this was a good idea. The texture is mealy and leaves a gritty feeling in your mouth. The taste is barely there, mostly bland. The bars a hard and a huge let down. I normally buy 6 boxes a week for our household, but not any more. What is left will most likely be thrown out. I have went to store around me to buy up any remaining old formula bars. Now I have to find an alternative. So disappointing.

Ruined it with soy protein

LyleW January 10, 2026

Just got these today and Kind has changed the “formula”. They added soy protein isolate. So now they are hard and gritty. Instead of soft and delicious. We all pretended like nothing happened when you reduced the size of these a few years ago but this is an outrage! You already have a whole “protein” line of products. Why ruin these?!

Terrible

Dissatisfied May 9, 2026

I have been having this every morning with my coffee for YEARS. The new version is terrible! They are going in the trash. Please bring back the ones without the soy protein.

New Formula is Horrible

RudyFlyer January 15, 2026

New formula is horrible. Dry taste and gritty. I used to eat one for breakfast every morning. Buying up old boxes now. I won't buy any new formula again. You lost a life long customer.

The New Formula is Awful

D January 8, 2026

The new formula is lousy. No taste. Weird texture. I've had two bars every day for breakfast for years but am off to look for alternatives. So disappointing.
