Kinetic sand is the best! I bought this to put in a sensory bin and my kids ranging from 2-8 sat and played with this set for a whole hour!! It is messy though!

This is a good starter kit for kinetic sand. You get molds, things to cut, scoop. Just don't mix all the colors. You'll get brown lol.

My son loves getting these toys from Spin Master! Hes only played with kinetic sand once and it was a much smaller set. This set was an instant hit. We quietly played for over an hour with this one until I had to put it aside because its almost nap time! This set comes with 2lbs of kinetic sand in green, blue, and pink. It has 10 different tools to mould or shape the sand as well. I think its a great set to have because you can always add more colours of sand, but the tools are so great to have for any of the sand in general. My son absolutely loved it. We will have to get more sand colours for him!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kinetic sand is something we always have on hand, and we play with it both indoors (it's vacuums well) and outdoors. The set contains three colours of kinetic sand and 10 tools and molds. We prefer to play with one colour at a time, because once they mix they're not as bright. The molds are great in this set and not too hard to use for my 4 year old. The three special cutters are a bit harder for her, as they require more force, but she loves seeing the sand pop out - for these cutters I recommend using more than one colour for better effects (. I like the little tool that makes a hole, it's simple, easy to use and fun for little ones, since they can then fill the hole with something. Overall, it's a great set, but I will love using it more with a bigger quantity of one colour of the sand. The tools seem to be durable and can definitely last for years and can be used for other things as well (like play dough).
