Birthdays are fun
Sent this to my eleven year old niece for her birthday along with a sketch pad. As a retired art teacher, this kit has lots of usable art materials to guide her to a lifetime of appreciation. Seemed like a good value.

Not worth it.
The colored pencils are extremely hard and not vibrant in color, the oil pastels feel like a waxy crayon. My opinion is they fall beneath a generic brand in quality, save your money.
