Phenomenal product, I use it for catering and competition
Let me just say this: Kingsford Low and Slow Charcoal Briquettes are not just charcoal. They are a lifestyle. A commitment. A slow burn romance, if you will. I lit these babies up around noon, planning to slow-cook a Ham. Next thing I know, it's 7 hours later, the sun's going down, I'm three extra large coffee refills in, and those coals are still hotter than a summer reunion in Florida. The low and slow part? 100% accurate. I think these briquettes were trained by ancient monks. They don't flare up, they don't rush—nah, they sit there all zen, just smoldering gently like they're contemplating the meaning of brisket. One of them might have whispered, "Patience is flavor, my child." I can't confirm. I was a little emotional by then. The smoke? Beautiful. Smells like a backyard dream wrapped in nostalgia. My neighbor came outside, took one sniff, and started crying. Said it reminded him of his granddad. I offered him some Ham samples. He offered to mow my lawn. We're friends now. By the end, my meat was tender, my soul was healed, and the coals still looked like they had a few more hours in them. I wouldn't be surprised if they just turned into diamonds overnight. Buy these. Your meat (and probably your entire neighborhood) will thank you. 🔥🥩👃👨🍳
Helped with my Thanksgiving turkey, could go great with ham too.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try the low and slow charcoal briquets from Kingsford. They burned incredibly slow and was great for smoking our brisket last Sunday for the eagles game. My boyfriend smokes a lot of meat and he was very pleased with this product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product to slow cook baby back and country ribs over a six hour cook. The ribs turned out tender and tasty. The charcoal was very easy to light. I used a chimney like the bag said to do. The charcoal burned exactly like they said it would when I set it up on my grill. The taste was amazing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kingsford low and slow charcoal briskets is it slow burn charcoal that's great for using in a smoker. I love how these charcoal briquets are 100% natural and burn for way longer. The key to knowing how to use. This is understanding that it is going to stay at a low, slow temperature. This will help you feel like a real grill master. You can use it in ceramic grills and smokers. I used it in a smoker to cook out brisket. Loved the experience.
bag was damage tape up not sure if I got full weight of my charcoal
when i recieved the item it was opened and taped up. a quarter of the bag was empty charcoal
Completely opened up. So I have to take back to the store and exchange for one that isn't opened. It was pawned off on me since I had a pick up. Person loading had to have noticed cus she was handling it and asking me if I want it in the back. Thank goodness I said “no” or it would have all been spilled out in the truck bed.
Not out of date, don't work at all! Waste of money. If I could do 0 stars I would
