I have used many braiding products. I use easy braid and love it. I tried this one when I ran out of easy braid and let me tell you. This definitely holds the hair. I braided with it and used it as a edge control. product definitely slayed. My brown skin girls with course hair or even curly hair that loves to wave or curl up try this. I kept scalp braid in for 3 weeks and this product did not disappoint 🙌

My grand kids are bi-racial and this gives their hair the hold it needs from braids to twist.. smell is nice and Not overwhelming like some hair products. The only problem with this particular product is it's Not enough on the shelves… I had to go to 3 Walmarts to obtain the 4 jars I needed. Love this product ❤️

I prefer this braiding gel to Jam which can feel just a little too greasy for my preference and too loose to hold anything. This has a consistency that is thicker/stiffer than Jam, but more malleable than most edge controls. Be careful. Using too much product can cause it to dry white. Because it is a thicker product and used for braiding, you want to make sure your hair is properly moisturized before using it so it can seal in the moisture. You can still comb run a comb through it if not heavily applied. The more product you apply, the more you will have to work to wash the product out (depending on the style and length of wear time). All in all, I use this product whenever I braid my hair (which is every few weeks or so). I have thick hair and usually have to buy a jar every other hair style (approx 80 or more braids) so the its pretty decent on value.

This item leaves hair feeling so greasy . Its super hard to remove from hair. I had to wash my daughters hair 4x to remove all the product. Leaves huge paste on hair. Never buying again.
