Kitchen Basics Chicken Stock, 8.25 oz Carton

I made chicken & dumplings with this and not only were they great the first day, but we had leftovers and day 2 was even better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just used the Kitchen Basics Original chicken stock to make an easy chicken noodle soup for my sick family. It was the perfect soup base, tasted homemade like I had been cooking it all day. It has a nice balance of favor without being overall salty. The easy to open packaging makes this the perfect starter when you need a quick meal, just add some chicken, noodle and veggies and you would be amazed at the taste.

I usually use the dry chicken cubes but this is so much better and takes the flavor to the next level… has a nice homemade broth taste to it and It has just the right amount of saltiness to it, not too salty and definitely don't have to add any more salt. . So easy to use to pour it into any soup or whatever you are making and get nice flavor. It's a great value for the money,.

I have used this product in making Alfredo and it worked out very well. It adds a nice smoothness and texture to the overall recipe. If you want a vegetarian version I also use the veggie stock as well. Both have been great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was great to make chicken soup out of. I added it to a whole chicken in the crockpot to cook for several hours and then boiled noodles to mix them with a delicious sprout is very complementary and well seasoned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed the flavor of this in my meals. I tried this broth in my whole chicken roast and added no seasoning. It had lots of flavor and wasn't too salty. I don't know what kind of salt they use but it's f they have an unsalted I would love to try it!

Overcharged ridiculous price

I used to love KB stock. I noticed a flavor change and looked at the ingredients (that haven't changed dramatically over the last few years) and see that yeast extract is now in all of the stock. I'm so very very disappointed. I couldn't figure out why I was ill, after eating the stock, I have used in many recipes, but found yeast extract. Ugh. Stop adding unnecessary crap, yes crap, to an otherwise good product. Go back to carrots onions and chicken, please!!
