Kitchenaid Classic Nonslip Plastic Cutting Board, 11-inch x14-inch, White

Only had it a few days, but liking so far. Stays put on the counter when chopping. Washed up well in the dishwasher. So far no gouges or marks. Price seemed reasonable. Would be ideal if more color variety was available. Purchased in two sizes.

I measured inside my dishwasher before I purchased this to make sure this would fit. Cleanup is now a breeze!

Pros: * Has a simple, modern, and attractive look (see photo) * Has deep juice-catching valleys * Fairly non-slip (at least with something heavier on it) * Easy to clean * Takes damage so your knives don't (see photo) * No holes for carrying so you can use the entire surface Cons: * Has a slight warp that interferes with its non-slip grips, so it slides slightly In short, I would recommend this to a friend because you can use the full surface, it's easy to clean, and it is gentle on knives.

This cutting board satisfies all criteria for which I was looking, that is, size, trough, material. I already have wooden cutting boards for but I don't like to use them for meat as they are absorbent. This board is plastic so it is nonporous. But it does scratch. Over time I will have to get rid of it as the scratches increase, making it a haven for bacteria. Two of the pluses are that it is quiet and doesn't dull my knives as opposed to ceramic which is great for cleanliness but that's it.

The material is plastic which I feel is not good and from other reviews it is not that durable

The description said they would not show knife marks. The very first time I used the board, theere were knife marks carved into the board. I thought I could trust Kitchenaid, but not in cutting boards.
