I could not believe how much heavier and better quality these beaters were than the ones that came with my kitchenaid mixer. I have used these, seem to beat better. Highly recommend these beaters, even if your old ones are still okay, do yourself a favor and get these.
I bought a new mixer for my wife and these came with it. The first time she used the mixer the beaters flopped around like a wounded bird; they had arrived bent. Given how heavy and sturdy they are compared to other replacement beaters I sincerely doubt they were damaged in transit. The mixer would have been shattered for these to have suffered from the shipping (the box was fine - no sign of neglect or abuse). I'm not sure how they could have been bent during the manufacturing process, but something happened to them and my guess is it happened
These beaters are quite a bit heavier than the ones that we had recieved with the mixer!
Yes! Perfect and strong enough to whip my body butters
I thought getting a Kitchenaid brand hand mixer would be a great upgrade for my kitchen, but it has been a huge disappointment. I have had it for 4 months and have already had to replace 2 pairs of the beaters. They are incredibly flimsy, and unlike the sturdy, harder edged beaters you get with a cheap mixer, they are not near strong enough to mix most things or to shred chicken. The only thing they have done for me successfully is whip cream, but even that took longer than it used to with my old, inexpensive mixer.
I have a KITCHENAID KHM512ER hand mixer. It worked fine for a number of years, but recently the beaters broke. The metal disconnected and it's not like I can easily sodder them back together. How can I get replacement beaters for model KHM512ER?
Thank you for all previous reviews. I had the same problem with the beaters on my mixer, wire breaking apart, which happened within first year of purchase. I have tried finding replacements, to no avail. Came to kitchenaid site to see if I could buy them new. Looks like it is a quality issue and I am not alone. I bought this mixer because of the name and expected a long lasting quality applaince. It appears not to be true in this case. Will not bother with kitchaid product a second time
I have model KHM7210CU it is a piece of crap. It's noisy and has no power. I am not a baker, I used the new mixer 4 times and one of the beaters broke off while I was mixing a cake batter (it was NOT a thick batter either). I am totally dismayed and would love to read some reviews from folks who did not receive something in exchange for a review.
This is a very disappointing mixer. I've had two kitchen aid hand mixers gifted to me in the last couple years for Christmas. One corded and one cordless. Both of which have had one of the beaters fall apart mid use. So frustrating! The corded one after a few uses, the cordless after only two uses!! Do not buy!! I love their stand mixers and was hoping to have the convenience of a hand held one as well but these do not live up to the kitchen aid name. Don't bother wasting your money.
Like everyone else reviewing here, the metal "wires" pulled away from one of the beaters during use. Very disappointing from such a reputable company. Not sure if I should purchase replacement beaters, or scrap the hand mixer and go with someone else.
