Any problems with low voltage? This will tell you. Checks wiring on receptacles and gfci receptacles. Love the fact that it also shows what your voltage is. Had a jumpered receptacle once and power was low due to corrosion from another. This would have told me everything from the start. great tool to keep on hand.

Why have the model# infer that it'll measure 250v?
In a perfect world this would be a great unit since it tells you the standard voltage, but I was given this RT250 and thought it would be great if it will tell you the outlet or panel was miswired, and I was going to test some 208v outlets, and it took a bunch of Googling to find out that over voltage will kill it, that the max is 135v. Logically it shoud measure just over what a miswire would put out, so it defeats the purpose.
