Perfect fit improved fuel millage

Great product. I run K&N air filters in my SUV, truck and car. I clean the filter every 30,000 miles and have never had any type of failure. I clean them and put them back in for another 30,000. The initial investment pays you back over the long haul.

I was concerned after reading reviews and speaking with the service advisor at my local Ram dealership. Several said that it will trigger the check engine light and the truck will not run properly. As with every gas vehicle I have used K&N filters in, this one in my diesel works excellent.

The truck seems to breathe better. Installation was a cinch. At $45 for a standard replacement filter, this K&N will pay for itself in 30,000 miles.

It is way better than I expected. Throttle response is way better, you can tell how the stock filter was holding back. My mpg has went up 1 to 2 mpg in the first month. I would recommend to anyone.

I didn't like shipping it was supposed to been delivered Friday before I left on my trip and it was delivered Saturday a day late.

Installed a KN 33-5005 on 2019 Ram 3500 6.7. Have installed this filter 5 times in 17,000 miles and it throws a code within 500 miles. Stock filter has never caused a code. Fuel mileage dropped every time it was installed. I use KN on everything, does not work on this truck.

Installed. Check Engine light on. Seems to run OK but showing code P0299 Turbo Underboost A Condition. Disappointing as I've used K&N air filters and even cold air intakes for several vehicles.

I'm a huge fan of K&N!. Have used them on all my vehicles to date, main reason is the wash-ability and performance during wet/foggy conditions. Unfortunately, a higher air flow filter might be problematic on newer diesels with the DPF (diesel particulate filter). The higher flow filter can lower EGT & have a negative effect passive regeneration of the DPF. I experienced this first hand with a stock 2022 6.7 Cummins Ram 2500. I would absolutely use this filter if there was no DPF on the vehicle exhaust..

We had an issue with turbo under boost on our truck. Dealership indicated they had a customer with same issue that was resolved after removing KN filter. It seems to have solved the problem for us. We had purchased one for each of our vehicles. Removed them both.
