l have purchased this filter repeatedly for a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel truck. I highly recommend using K%26N products. They are well made and do a great job.

I have a `15 & '24 Ram 2500 w/the 6.7L Cummins Diesel. My '15 has 164k and I have owned it since new. This is the only filter I have used on either truck after removing the OEM filters at the first oil changes. I have had not engine problems or specific oil related problems w/either truck. I like that K&N products are well known for being reliable and effective. For me, the 1" removal nut on the bottom of the filter makes this filter the easiest to loosen with an open wrench through the wheel well. There is not much room for any other type of oil filter wrench.
Somehow they beat the auto stores for this and the Valvoline Blue my diesel ram use! Thick wall filter with 1" nut to wrench on the end. Filter is resin\paper and has an anti flow back feature.
