It's a lot cheaper and better than the OEM replacement part for my Hyundai.
I have been using K&N products for years.so this purchase was no different. Just purchased a Hyundai Veloster and there were flat spots on low end and a little on mid to high...so i got minor exhaust work done and ordered my K & N air filter through them directly and now my ride zips through like a champ with no flat spots. To top it off no auto parts had the filter and claimed they couldn't order it. So K&N you get 2 thumbs way up !!
K&N filters, what can I say... I have used them on my 1956 Pontiac Chieftain, 1972 Datsun pick-up, VW Vanagan, several VW bugs, Class A motorhome, F350 Diesel Crew cab pick-up with full intake package, several off road race cars and prerunners, Mini Cooper with the full intake system, Ranger pick-up and now a 2014 Kia Soul. I am a very satisfied customer and recommend K&N at every opportunity.
Great product! Ordering on the K&N website was fast, simple, and easy. Shipping was also free! Product came within five business days, and was easily installed into my vehicle within five minutes. The quality of the air filter seems very good, and I have noticed a slight difference in the performance of my car. Overall, I would highly recommend this product to anyone.
I have been using K & N air filters for years in my vehicles, but I have always purchased them at a nearby auto parts store. For convenience sake, I tried purchasing it online, and the experience was everything I hoped it would be. The product arrived in a timely manner, at a good price.
I purchased the K&N air filter for my 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo on the recommendation of another Veloster Turbo owner. I was experiencing hesitation on acceleration and turbo lag that the dealer and factory refused to investigate because, as they repeatedly told me, there were no engine error codes. Of course it may well have been that the ECU (electronic control unit) error checking routines were not checking the portion of the control sequence that was at fault, but neither the dealer nor the factory would consider that. After installation of the K&N filter, the hesitation all but disappeared, turbo lag was non-existant, the WOT (wide open throttle) performance was considerably better (on par with my 2007 VW GTI) and my fuel milage increased about 2.1 miles per gallon. I have since sold the Hyundai, but I highly recommend the K&N filter no matter what car you are driving.
Easily installed, exact fit, upgraded filter for my vehicle. I've used K&N filters for some years in Corvettes for increased performance and, frankly, for great looking updates to OEM air systems. First time for use in a daily driver family vehicle. Thanks K&N, for prompt shipping and reasonable pricing.
Replacing a washable K&N filter instead of a disposable filter is a no brainer. Sure it costs a little more up front but if your going to keep the vehicle several years like I do, K&N filters pay for themselves. Plus you're doing the environment a favor by not clogging up the landfills with disposable filters. I clean my filter once a year no matter how it looks. Its easy enough to do. Price it out for yourself, disposable vs. K&N washable. Even with the cleaner and spray oil it a money saver and the chemicals are not harsh smelling.
If you've never tried one, try one. Not only do they save you money, they keep your engine clean! And a clean engine is a happy engine. You take care of it and it'll take care of your. Promise!
I love the extra boost I have now. My 2014 Soul is the base model and the little bit of HP increase is noticeable. I am extremely impressed with the fuel mileage increase. Car is rated for 26/31 mpg. I was averaging 32 mpg, and am now getting 37-40 mpg. Wish you made a/c filters for my house too, lol.
