I put a K&N in my 99 F150 5.4 Troton and had immidiate results! Just the sound of that ssssiiiippppp...is enough gratification for me, but I've since put exhaust and headers to complete the flow and it's performance is unbelieveable!! K&N makes any motor better, it's up to you what your gonna create after that! BELEIVE!!!

I just installed your filter into my '02 F150 Lariat Supercrew with the 5.4l V-8, and what a difference! It sounds better, accelerates better, and has lower RPM at highway speed. I also noticed that it shifts earlier, and doesnt downshift as much. And from what others say, I'll be looking at better gas mileage too. It makes sense...better combustion because there's more air...less wasted fuel. Plus, with the extra power, you don't need to get on the gas as much. I only wish I had the money to get a full intake system! Send me one and Ill be tell everyone I know to get one haha! Thanks for a great product!

I installed a K & N air filter on my new 2002 Expedition with the 5.4 liter engine. My normal driving consists of around town and driving to work with short distances on the highway including rush hour. My mpg rose from 13.5 to 15.3 (about the same as my Explorer), a 13% gain! I am anxious to see what straight highway driving will net. Will keep you posted. Will recommend your product to my friends!

I have a 1997 FORD F-150 V6(4.2) that I installed a new crate motor (4.2) in a few years ago and I live on a dirt road so paper filters would become filled with dust and sand ALOT... So this past month I saved my change and bought a K&N FILTER for $60 bucks, I didn't have the money for the full KIT at my local AUTO-ZONE...I went outside and had it installed in less than 5 mins. I read directions LOL I didn't need them guys never do... After that I pulled out onto the road tapping the gas and feeling the power I'd just unleashed through THE WORLD'S BEST AIR FILTER  equals  K&N I wish I had the cash to buy the full kit but I'm only 18 and can't aford it. I wish K&N would read this and give away FREE stuff...HINT HINT    WELL thanks K&N Thanks for reading everyone

I've always used k&n replacement filters instead of buying a new paper filter. I love the way my 6.8L V10 with a performance exhaust sounds and the filter adds just a little more intake noise. Better throttle response too. Haven't notice much mileage increase, but come on, it's got a V10.
