Kodak 10B Black Ink Cartridge order

boblove3r December 28, 2012

Everything was perfect for this order. I was able to pick it up at the store earlier than indicated and at the same time pick up the Kodak 10C Color Ink Cartridge which I had ordered that same day.

Buyer Beware: Color Ink Needed to Print B&W!

silverbonn March 7, 2011

Never having purchased from Walmart Online, I decided to give it a try. I didn't want to risk too much, so I bought a single black & white cartridge for my KODAK ESP3250. If all went well, I thought, I'd continue to do so for convenience (the nearest Walmart is sev'l miles away & I'd transportation difficulties). LSS: The transaction went smoothly, the product was as I expected -- it worked flawlessly, BUT -- I should have bought a color cartridge as well, or one of the "package deals" that offer one of each. Consumers need be aware the Kodak ESP3250 printers (& possibly other models) require COLOR ink *even* if one *only* prints in black & white. This is *especially* important for writers & students, et al, as the cost effectiveness may not be as great as expected. (Its ad campaign is entirely based on the savings in cartridge cost/s.) While the black & white ink consumption *is* considerably greater than color consumption, it does require *some* color (less than a 2:1 ratio) & when the color ink cartridge is empty, it WILL NOT PRINT! (And NO setting adjustments can be made to work around it. "It's required," Kodak says, "to avoid needing replace the printer head w/ every cartridge replacement.") This is especially important for writers & students, et al, seeking cost-effective printers -- the ad campaign is *specifically* geared towards the high cost of ink cartridges. I learned this online -- the info is *not* included in either the manual OR the downloaded "Help Ctr" included during install. I now keep an eye out for sales & when I find one, make sure I buy @ least one color for every two black & white cartridges I have on hand. (Can you imagine a writer or a student discovering this, the night before a deadline/ paper is due?) If you can't afford to "stock up" on cartridges, when one begins rcvg the "Your color level is low. Please order add'l supplies'" auto-warnings, take the "warning" seriously!

This is a typical Kodak quality cartridge within reasonable price range. Just what I need when I need it. Plus delivery is very fast. Thank you.

No need to pay more. As good as higher priced ink.

I have used this brand for three years now and it has always met all my expectations. The only thing better would be a color laser jet.

This product failed on day 3 of use. Printer stopped recognizing the cartridge. Had to buy a replacement at Staples that is working well. This cartridge from Walmart on line is the first and only time I have had a problem. Will not trust them as a source of supply for Kodak 10B ink cartridges.

supposed to be econimical on ink.NOT!!!

gruenequeen June 30, 2013

I bought this on the recommendation of several friends who said it was economical on ink! Well, it isn't! I seem to replace the cartridges as often as I did with my functioning HP. THis is also supposed to be a WIFI printer, but that worked for about 1 month before quitting on me. Koidak no longer supports this printer or any others, so it was a waste of effort and money for me. I am frustrated, because I hardly print, and to have to buy cartridges several times a year, makes the average cost per print about 8 cents. Not cheaper than the Office supply companies, but only has convenience going for it. I'm so disgusted with the whole printer industry. Does anyone actually tell the truth, or is it all Buyer Beware?

Ink use is outrageous

MomWhoElse August 16, 2015

When I bought the printer, the ink cartridges cost much less. The printer also came with the promise of using less ink. The price of the ink continues to rise. Cartridge says page yield is 425 pgs. NOT!! I replaced my last black cartridge in late May. I printed about 60 pages and printed a few pages in June and July. I have probably printed close to 100 pgs. Time for black ink again! It won't even print in color although it indicates the color cartridge is full. I need to print for tomorrow and can't . So I am now searching online for the lowest priced Kodak ink. Feeling fed up.
