i have been a customer almost since Walmart first opened and have never had a problem in till a couple of days ago i put an order which was delayed for some reason and when i got it left in another apartment two doors over and i didn't know what was going on and i was trying to find out from the store till the lady came knocking at my door and asked if i was waiting for a delivery and i said yes so she told me it was delivered at her apartment but i haven't received the second item yet so the reason i ordered my delivery is because i can't drive and some time it's hard for me to ask for some one to take me i hate to impose on other people when they have their own thing to do sorry that this review is so long but i am a little frustrated right now sorry but that doesn't mean ill stop shopping there
I had a rough tooth extraction and my eating was very limited and I was to rest for 2 days. I tried this and it was easy to prepare, you eat it right out of its container, and it was delicious. Then you throw away the container. I cooked it 20 seconds longer and that made it perfect. I tried the other Kodiak products and really enjoyed them too.
The oatmeal is delicious and the packaging is very convenient. In the microwave for just 35 seconds and it's ready. I rarely use it in the morning for breakfast, but use it many days to replace my lunch. I'm on an appetite suppressant, so the amount is fine. But with a regular appetite, this small portion would not be enough.
If people like maple and brown sugar, this is the one for them. I love it. I ordered it all the time cause I add a little bit of maple syrup and some blueberries. Take care.
please watch it cook in the microwave because if you just let it go and walk away it will over flow. I can't cook mine for the full time because if will just boil over and then you are left with a mess and 2 scoops of oatmeal left.
Although Kodiak's Maple and Brown Sugar oatmeal cups are pricier than Quaker's cups of the same type, they have a better oaty taste especially if allowed to sit in water for 15 minutes before microwaving. However, lately, after eating dozens of them since summer, there has been a noticeable loss of maple flavor. I still buy it for its superior oaty taste and texture, but am disappointed with the loss of maple taste, although 1 half-tablespoon( ) of maple syrup added satisfies me. Yet, consumers should be getting the taste of maple already in it. I like the paper cups instead of plastic ones Quaker uses. Tasty but currently lacking maple flavor! Add frozen banana slices, peanut butter and a bit of jelly makes my day for a healthier snack than candy bars. Please get that maple flavor back, Kodiak!
I thought this would be a great option for me in the mornings, as I am always running late and get hungry shortly after breakfast. The extra protein would hold me over until lunch, and it only takes 60-90 seconds in the microwave. Boy was I wrong. I put it in for 75 seconds (middle of what is listed) and it overflowed half the oatmeal onto the microwave plate. Had to spend extra time cleaning it up and lost half my breakfast. Taste was pretty bland too. Reminded me of when my grandma would make plain quick oats, before adding butter and brown sugar. Very little to no flavor.
This left a nasty after taste.
5 out of the 8 packs had tiny black bugs inside of them. Bugs sealed inside with the oats is unacceptable. These need to be recalled.
The microwave instructions are so far off on all these! You may as well be eating raw oats. 30 seconds? Who signed that off, please I'd like to know LOL. When trying to cook long enough to be edible the oatmeal overflows from the cup. This flavor is so incredibly bland as well.
