Only oatmeal I buy. It's healthy high in protein and lower sugar than most. They use cane sugar not white or corn syrup. So lot more healthier than standard oatmeal. Less bi-products and chemicals.

good taste a tad to gritty for my taste, tried making it 3 different ways they all came out the same..add milk at end then microwave for a couple seconds, makes a better texture

I have been eating Kodiak oatmal for breakfat for a couple week now It makes an easy and delicious meal and satisfies my hunger until lunchtime. As a special extra, it also provides the protein I need for maintaining muscle mass I grow older. All this for a VERY resonable cot per serving!

I didn't care for the chocolate chip flavor of Kodiak. The oatmeal itself has a nice texture so gave it 3 stars. Try another flavor would be my recommendation.

Not bad, but not "good" either. Trying to get a consistent texture throughout a bowl is difficult due to the cut of the oat. They are a little thicker than Quaker instant, so it takes longer to "cook", I don't like watery oatmeal, so I tend to put just enough water to cover the oats and allow them to take in the water, but the bottom ends up mushy and the top stays relatively raw/crunchy. I never have that issue with other oat brands. Flavor is OK, similar to a no-bake cookie.

I like the taste of this chocolate chip oatmeal. It's more chocolate all over than chocolate chip though. It reminds me of the “cow patty” cookies (which taste great, actually, and you should look up the recipe for those if you like this. yw) My only complaint is that the oats themselves seem to be a thicker consistency than what I'm used to, and it causes a chewy texture. Also, I have to cook them for double the time it says on the packet so they won't be liquidy and runny.

All I can say is this stuff is chewy, and tastes like cardboard. Do yourself a favor and just buy regular oats or quick oats and add some things to adjust it to your taste. This was awful.

yucky bitter lumpy not the rich taste I was expecting

I have really enjoyed the Kodiak pancake mix and muffins, so I was looking forward to trying the oatmeal too. YUCK! The oats are stale and the chocolate chips have no flavor, they just melt and turn everything brown. Ended up just throwing it out and considering the price paid for the product, that should tell you how awful it was. I'm not willing to invest another 6 bucks to try the other flavor.
