This is my 1st guitar, I'm in my 80's. The FedEx man brought it early on a Sunday morning, it was well packaged and arrived undamaged, with everything that was included in the bundle. The CD is packaged in the back of the Dummies book. I tuned the guitar with the included tuner. The guitar is beautiful and appears well made, and has a beautiful sound. Between "Guitar Basics for DUMMIES" and YouTube videos even I should be able to make music to entertain myself
I bought this guitar for my son for his 9th birthday and he loves it!!!! I think it is really nicely made and it comes with accessories which makes it great for beginners. I am going to get my son in guitar lessons and down the road he will get a more expensive guitar, but this is perfect for now.
Learned to play way too many years ago. Wanted to give myself a new challenge in a new way. The old electric down from the rafters and dusted off was just a little too much to get going. Decided to look for something simpler to refresh myself on. I did plenty of shopping online and in person. There were plenty to chose from here. I was looking for simple cheap and easy. This guitar really fit the bill. It's not for "dummies" mind you. It's a great guitar. Plays and sounds good. Comes with all you'll need to learn to play. Nothing fancy. I'm having fun with it. The bag is plastic, it's better than nothing. The tuner couldn't be easier. The book is for the novice, the included cd gives some practical lessons. I can always use the picks. Perfect setup for new beginnings. You can't go wrong buying this product.
I bought this to learn on. It's not a $500 guitar, but it sounds nice, and stays in tune. I'd recommend this to any beginner. It's a good starter guitar. When you learn how to play, then buy a more expensive one.
I purchased this for my daughter. She wasn't asking for one but she was so excited to receive one. It stays in tune, has a good sound, and appreciate the book and case that comes with it. Good introductory instrument
Agree with the other reviewers in that we were pleased with the sound and size of the guitar. Not too big for a pre-teen to hold. Not overpriced. All of which is what we wanted for a first instrument. It had an electronic tuner, which was a nice touch, but we still haven't figured out how to use that. The instructions for the tuner were not helpful. So we'll have to tune it another way for now. Was shipped to house (store pickup not available) and arrived intact and within the time frame promised. Very happy with it overall.
I purchased this for my grandson. He loved it and has been using it since it was delivered. A great product fir a great price.
Great little starter guitar :) weird color...a lot of people have commented on it, haha, but I like it
Nice looking guitar set had everything you need to get started. Recommend picking up extra strings we had one break while trying to tune it in.
I bought this for my Filipino girlfriend... i bought it partly because it comes with the book. Not a bad guitar... the intonation is off at the thirteenth fret. quite badly actually. but if you are not playing up that far... nothing to worry about... I really didn't like the looks of it, when i got it out of the box... just because of the blonde sides but i got used to it... some may actually like the lighter colors... if you don't care about the tuner... i would get the First Act 36" Acoustic Guitar for 60$ then you could get the Guitar for Dummies, with DVD (the whole book) for $16.16. It would save you two dollars and change and you would get the whole book (388pgs) and dvd... instead of 120 pages and cd. I did like that guitar better IMHO...
