Highly Recommend, Stir Often
I highly recommend this product especially if you like to complete projects a little quicker, can't beat two steps i in one! The color is perfect, not too light, not too dark. Only thing I recommend, which is also stated in the instructions for use on the can, is to stir very often as the poly and stain separate fast which can leave you with uneven color and/or poly finish.

Know because it is mixed with epoxy it will dry however you leave your streaks so ensure they match the grain. but otherwise great product! saved lots of time 2 steps in 1

Happy with this stain
This one step stain is just what I needed for spot staining some 150 year old french doors in my dining room. They are older black stained that had rubbed to the bare wood in some high contact areas. The match was perfect and took only one step. That was huge. Worked great for me. Make sure you do some research on the colors so you get the right one for the results you want. Varathane is a great product. I use it almost exclusively for stain and polyurethane applications. Good stuff.

I needed an inexpensive stain, and this definitely served the purpose. Good coverage a nice look.

Was super easy to use.. had an old white dresser that I knew was useful and didn't want to get rid of.. grabbed this lightly sanded and did a few layers and truly looks amazing.. looking for other things to paint with it !

Stain was the exact color shown on the container. Easy to apply and dried quickly. Was able to refinish a dresser in one day. Looks like a new piece

No water base! Oily Please!
I requested Kona that is oil based, perhaps a mistake was made, when asked to choose a substitute this product did not have a choice. However I need oil based, this needs to be returned. I know this is a good product but this will not work with the project I am working.
