Great product.
I used this on my butcher block counter tops. I used a water based color, not quite a stain but minwax made it. I could tell a difference with and without it. I think if I used a true stain this would be very important to use. I do feel like it helped make the coat more even.

Prep work
I think it did its job but not sure. Did make some of my pine boards bubble and need sanded more. Used anyways because suppose to have a better stain application!
