Clear, Varathane Ultimate Polyurethane, Satin-200261H, Half Pint

Its a must!!!... love it!!! I bought a bigger can in Feb... but writing my review on this can, same stuff! Anyways... I bought a new/bigger size cocktail table for my living room and there was a few things I didn't like about it, but knew I could change what I didn't like without having to sand it bc it was smooth already. So I Repainted the top of the table using two coats of flat black paint. The next day on lunch break, I used 1 coat of the (POLYURETHANE WATER BASED) then another cost when I got home. I absolutely love the CRYSTAL CLEAR SATIN look and the amazing job that the POLYURETHANE PROTECTS the table. (9 MONTHS LATER)... Still NO SCRATCHES, CHIPS, or FADING!!! A month ago.... I decided I wanted to add some color to my table. I didn't send it, I painted using 10 different shades of flat blues to the table.Turned awesome!! no mess ups!! hahaha... ( MY EXPERIENCE)... Yes! it's milky at first, and turns clear in about 10 minutes and you can see how super fast it drys. So fast that you CAN'T GO BACK OVER IT if you messed a spot, bc after 15-20 seconds of brushing it on, it becomes super sticky very quickly. MUST... use in a clean area, with NO DOG'S AROUND bc hair will stick in it and it will be noticeable after it drys. lol. If you do, Then you will have to sand it to remove the POLYURETHANE. If you miss a spot no big deal... let it fully dry which only takes about 30-40 minutes, then brush the area. I waited to do the 2 and coat 24 hrs later but that's just what I wanted to do! ! They have glossy too... not my thang tho lol. 🙌🏽👍🏽. But If your wanting to add a coat on top of the gloss that's already there, and no sanding is needed bc it's already smooth... you definitely can!! Add paint after you do 1 coat then add 2 coats of polyurethane after you paint it for great protection!! Really AWESOME PRODUCT, does EXACTLY what it tells you on the can! FAST DRYING , DURABILITY is FANTASTIC!!

I use this on my polymer clay and paper machete art. It dries quickly, doesn't turn yellow after awhile (like resin often does), %26 it's not sticky when dry. I've used it for years, %26 never had a problem.

This product is just what I needed. The drying times are just perfect for me to keep working on whatever model I am building at the time. The satin finish is beautiful. This order was an 8 oz can.

Very Satisfied I would definitely recommend this product and I'm definitely going going buy it again.

Save money by ordering the larger size of this. It's well worth it. This polyurethane is amazing for preserving and adding sheen to so many different types of projects. It comes in multiple finishes, too, like satin, gloss, %26 matte. It's easy to use as long as you stir well beforehand, allow enough time in between coats, and paint in THIN layers. :) A few ways to use polyurethane (in a well-ventilated area) to make your crafts %26 home decor pop: --Use a layer of glossy atop a table centerpiece like a small statue. -- Paint onto wooden objects to give them added protection and 'shine' (if using glossy/satin). For instance, even a wooden napkin box can become eye-catching with a few layers of semi-gloss atop. --Use on unfinished furniture to really call attention to features of it, such as details. For instance, paint the gloss with a thin paintbrush around stenciling, embossing, or borders. --You can use the glossy poly on words on a plaque or special details on a craft, and the matte on the rest of the object. --Using raw wood projects from hobby stores? Glaze them with this poly after you stain or paint them. --For an easy, detailed paint job, use acrylic markers on raw wood. Next, add your polyurethane finish of choice.

Can is much smaller than expected but that is my fault for not checking the size but I was able to finish the job with quite a bit left over. Love this product will continue to use.

Normally, this would be an Excellent Product. But the one can that WALMART sold to me was cloudy. the Varathane was Cloudy. Walmart made to to Difficult for me to be able to Return it. Did not Refund my Money either. Have not purchased again.😢

This was not clear as indicated on the can. It was white and dried white.

the driver destroyed it it was all squished when I got it and I've had major dental surgery and no ice to put on my face and the driver threw my ice cream everywhere and didn't give me the right pie
