Kona, Varathane One Step Interior Wood Stain + Polyurethane, Semi-Gloss -384358, Half Pint

The dry time is excellent and it's quite easy to use. To be honest I haven't always had great results with poly stains as they can end up goopy and drippy but I didn't have that problem with this one. It didn't dry out in the can and it allowed me to take my time but move quickly as it was so easy. I waited about an hour and half between coats and did two coats after sanding and I'm super impressed with the results. I love the finish of it. It looks like quality and this color is just the perfect dark without being black. It's got depth to it and you're able to layer it nicely for a darker finish. One coat is quite rustic and two just makes it look expensive. It's very user friendly and just comes out great. I don't see how you can mess up. Applies with a slight purple hue and dries a beautiful cool tone of rush dark brown. The perfect transparency that keeps it from looking like paint and stays true to wood and it's beautiful grain

Worked well for my small project on an indoor furniture piece. Easy to follow instructions, simple one-coat process with quick dry time %26 nice semi-gloss finish. I was able to add a second coat to achieve a darker/richer color per the instructions. Liked that it was low-odor and water-based for easy cleanup, and the small half pint can was the perfect size and price for my small project. The added poly in the stain not only made the project quick %26 easy, but also made the finish more durable. Very pleased with the color and sheen of the final finish.

one or two good generous coats, and this gets your wood looking shiny and beautiful! i love this stuff. renovated some nice pallets for a projevt of mine and they look incredible. doesnt take too long to dry either!

true color. goes on easy with a brush. low odor.

Its black not brown (Kona is supposed to be brown!) I want a replacement of brown delivered to me or refund please!
