I've tried this several times. I followed all the directions. The first time, cooking for the minimum time in the microwave caused water to boil over, leaving a huge starchy, liquid mess in the microwave and the outside of the bowl, and not enough liquid to make a good sauce. And, the macaroni was not tender enough. So the next time, I used an even bigger bowl and cooked for less time - with the same exact results! I even put something under the bowl to catch the boil over, but there was so much that that spilled into the microwave while I was removing it, too! And I had to add extra water after cooking just to make the cheese not be just clumps, and the macaroni not tender enough. I don't know how all these other people are giving it great reviews. I'm very careful and no matter what, I still get bad results!

Expiration on these when you're shopping in person is more like a year-plus. I was apparently sent some overstock, and I'll need to prioritize using it up fairly soon.

easy Mac is the only mac and cheese my daughter will eat I think they're good too especially if you're on the go

My six year old loves this Mac and cheese. It's easy to make but...after the noodles come out of the microwave, they are a bit slimy. What I do is put the noodles in a clean bowl and then add the cheese powder.

My grandchildren request Mimi's Mac n Cheese when they walk through the door. I put noodles in glass microwaveable dish, pour enough water to cover noodles with about a half inch over, cook for about 4 minutes, stir, let it sit until water is absorbed, drain, add real butter, the cheese, stir, add tiny bit of milk as needed, stir until creamy.

My child loves to make this herself! Make sure to put a plate underneath your bowl in case it overflows with bubbles in the microwave!
