This kreg jig k4 pocket hole jig is so simple to use and it makes home projects like bookcases and shelves so easy to make. It basically helps you angle with drilling a hole for your screws to go in and attach two pieces of wood together in a corner. I'm not comfortable in woodwork but this makes it very easy to use and doesn't require too much knowledge in woodwork either. It's easy to make shoe racks and small chairs. Things that you might not necessary want to buy if you can make yourself. This tool has been a great addition to my tool box.

It has everything you need. It includes a special step drill bit, the special flat bottom screws, a square drive drill bit and a stop collar for setting the depth of the holes. Screws used for pocket hole joiner are special because they have a flat bottom head and its self-drilling thread point. These screws are available in coarse thread for soft woods and fine thread for hard woods. The drilling block has three holes in it always special metal sleeves that guide to drill and keep it at the proper angle. The Kreg Jig K4 comes in a nice carrying box (heavy duty cardboard) with a handle. It is compact. It comes with a "dust collection attachment". The kit contains the following: Kreg Jig K4, stepped drill bit & stop collar, 6" square-drive bit, starter screw se4t and starter plug set. It is lightweight and, I'm sure easy to use. Unfortunately, I had an arm injury and haven't been able to test this product out. I was able to take it out of the box and look it over and it does, indeed, come with all that it says it does. It can be used to "...build with wood - home improvements, bookcases & shelves, storage projects, furniture, outdoor projects, repairs and much more". It will work with solid wood and plywood. The thickness of the materials that it accepts range from 1/2" to 1 1/2" thick. It will clamp conveniently to a workbench. There is a toggle claim that holds the piece you are working with. It says it sets up easily with built-in guides, I can only take their word for that for now, but am not sure I could set it up with ease. They also claim that it works as a benchtop or portable jig. There are some nice illustrations on the box and with the little booklet that came with it showing how to use it, etc. I would recommend this tool.

The Kreg Jig K4 pocket hole system is very easy to use. This was my very first wood working project I'd designed myself and put together myself. I am so glad that I bought the Kreg Jig K4 System. The system has an adjust-once-and-done clamp to hold your workpiece in place, this made for a super-efficient and fast was for switching boards out. The clamp held the work piece very tight. This Kreg system also comes with a dust shroud that can be attached to a shop vac. This feature helped to keep my work area very clean and manageable. The Kreg tool website is very informative with how to videos and even a list of projects to be completed with the Kreg Jig Pocket hole setup. After watching a couple of videos I realized how DIY friendly this product actually was. I was very confident that I could complete the project I had in mind when I purchased the product. The face frames were easy to make and attach to the cabinets. I would recommend this tool for all DIYers.

The Greg Jig is awesome for around the house help for those who like getting the job done right the first time, that's me. I love the way it grips wood and how you can just measure the depth of wood so you don't still right to the other side. it's light but feels strong in the mechanical areas of the kreg jig. Screws go in and stay tight like the furniture cake for the first time from the factory. My dad loves it and now we have something that makes ideas possible from home, saving me money. kit complete and ready for multiple projects, all you need is a drill and the kreg jig. awesome

I was very impressed with the Kreg K4 Pocket-hole Jig. The instructions were easy to read, so it made using the jig very easy. It comes with an easy to use guide so even a beginner can use it. The pocket holes make it easy to build all sorts of fun wood projects. You can rest assured that with the Kreg K4 Pocket-hole Jig that your next handy man project will be done right. Since it is easy to use you will get your wood projects done sooner, and they will be good quality. I would definitely recommend this product to all my friends and family.

Easier then I thought. Fooled around with a few pieces of wood cause I didnt have a project on hand. Attached it to my work table and it held the corners like a gem. Easy to screw the screws in place leaving them hidden. You definetly have to make sure you are screwing into the correct piece of wood or there will be no strength at the joined area.

My husband and I have been renovating our house for last 14 years. We started with simple home improvement tasks like painting and drywall repair but with time and experience we graduated to more elaborate jobs. We do not have any formal training in woodwork but have done some simple wall framing projects in our house before. This jig pocket hole kit is our motivation for more DIY projects around the house. The tool is made in USA, the body is made from heavy duty plastic that seems very durable. The kit comes with 3-hole removable drill guide with steel core that guides the drill bit, the core can be used on the base or removed and used pretty much anywhere. The base should be secured to the workbench by a clamp (not provided in the kit). Since we have no experience with using this kind of tool we turned to internet for help and found many online videos that provide very clear instruction on how to use it and gave us some ideas on future projects. So far, we practiced on some scrap wood and this tool is so easy to use, plus there is very little mess. I will pick up some lumber and screws this week and we will be building a storage bench for our patio next.

This Kreg K4 Jig Pocket-Hole Jig came with: the jig, Quick-Start Guide w/ DVD, Stepped Drill Bit. 01/29/2019 6" Square Driver, Starter Plug & screw Set. The jig looks and feels like it's made out of good quality materials. My first project I'm making with this is a small bookcase. This jig is easy to use and makes perfect pocket holes. The guide has a nice size recess that makes it easy to clamp on the wood. This will adjust to fit 1/2" to 1 1/2" wood at 1/8" steps. I felt confident using this jig because of watching the DVD and the directions were so clear. I look forward to finishing my bookcase that will look more professional and also be sturdy because of the pocket holes.
