Crunch. Cheapest.

Anonymous June 28, 2026

Cheaper than other brands, but just as crunchy. Add this to stir fry (at the end of cooking), or into miso soup (at the same time as the scallions) to add some crunch, and bulk. Mostly they're for crunch as there isn't much flavor, to me, for any brand of bean sprouts. I'll buy any brand of bean sprouts, but these are just as crunchy, and cheapest.

Consistently High-Quality

Kelley May 22, 2026

This is a brand I rely on for bean sprouts. Unlike most other produce, you really want your bean sprouts canned. It's definitely safer, and I find the taste better simply because it's consistent.

Canned Bean Sprouts

KK January 1, 2026

I am using these bean sprouts following a recipe for homemade Egg Foo Yung. Mainly they create the body and texture of the dish. Since sprouts are pretty bland, it's important to use the right seasonings. They're good for the dish I have been making.

Great Alternative for Fresh!!

Barbara February 1, 2026

These are great to keep on your shelf. Fresh is always best, but not always available. Sometimes just not convenient to run to the store. I used them for making chow mein, and it actually tasted very good for not being fresh. I do recommend these. A great item to have on hand.

i got recommended these from Walmart when they didn't have the polar brand i usually get in stock. ill never allow these as a substitute again. even for canned veg these were beyond disappointing. the sprouts have a weird color to them almost a brown hue. and they appear to be incredibly young. some are more seed pod than sprout. i have no idea how but the texture and taste of these sprouts after a quick stir fry is incredibly similar to eating barley porridge. they have a very bitter earthy taste i do not associate with bean sprouts and a mushy mouth feel. the only reason this isn't a 1 star rating is because i will admit im not a expert when it comes to these things so maybe thats what people like for bean sprouts. but i usually expect something light fresh tasting and to have just a bit if a crunch to them. if you also want that these are a flat zero on the quality meter.

Linda May 22, 2026

The bean sprouts were mushy. The only reason I bought that was because I was a kid, my mom bought them and they were so good. The belt was so soggy mushy and it didn't taste like when I was a child. Will not buy them anymore. I tried to eat half of them. I threw the rest away.
