Durum Wheat Pasta
When I can't find orzo in the store, I typically purchase the La Moderna Melon Seed Pasta. The price is comparable and my family doesn't notice a difference in the dishes I make. I like the pasta is made with durum wheat. I feel like there is more of a health benefit compared to most pastas on store shelves. I like to keep several bags in my pantry at all times for quick easy meals.

I love this melon seed pasta in soup mushroom or cream of chicken. I imagine any cream soup would do. Certainly it's a great substitute for barley if it's not on hand. So .... this was a case of Melon seed pasta for an outstanding price. This really is a great filling pasta that doesn't overtake my soup.

Delicious Affordable Pasta
This pasta is made with semolina and durum wheat. Super tasty. The directions on the package were clear and easy to understand. The pasta would be great in a soup, salad or any recipe you want a pasta. The bag size is perfect amount to avoid leftovers.

Very easy to prepare. Boil pasta in chicken broth, add 1 tablespoon of Knorr tomato bullion. Ready in about 10- 12 min. Thank me later.

La Moderna Melon Seed shaped pasta
I Love the smaller sized packs of the La Moderna pasta. This melon seed pasta I really like to throw in soups about 10 minutes before serving. Very similar to Orzo in size. Great in Vegetable soup, and really good in chicken noodle as a change up in noodle shape! Our toddler grandson loves to see what shape pasta is in soups. And always a much better price point. La Moderna also makes a Wagon wheel shaped pasta, and also Alphabet Letters shaped pasta that can brighten anyone's day!

This can make such a simple but delicious dish. Just add a small can of tomato sauce to the cooked pasta %26 simmer for a few minutes. So good.

Family favorite
Easy to make and delicious to eat for a quick meal. My kids love it more so in the fall/winter. I’ll add some veggies and it’s perfect!!!
