La Roche-Posay Effaclar Medicated Salicylic Acid Acne Face Wash for Oily Skin, 6.76 fl oz

I've had acne problems for around 5 years and have been unmedicated for the last 3 which meant my acne has been really bad recently. I've tried a lot, including intensive routines and minimalist routines, things recommended to me by influencers and things I've found in drug stores, but whatever I tried I always had pretty bad acne (especially on my cheeks and chin). I've been using this face wash for a month, in combination with the oil free moisturiser and a little use of the spot treatment, and my face has genuinely become so much clearer than it had been for the last 3 years. Obviously it's not perfect, and I still have some fluctuations based on my hormonal cycle and scars from my acne before, but having ever-present cystic acne on my cheeks and clogged pores everywhere has completely stopped.

I picked up a free sample of this at the dermatologist office. I have older skin well past acne stage. It makes my skin feel and look so much better. I used it morning and night, but started using just at night because I felt it might dry out my skin. Using just at night is perfect for me. Exfoliates well and makes my skin feel so smooth. I only need to use a small amount. Light neutral fragrance. I love this product. I'm so glad I could get it through my Walmart App.

I have been using this face wash for four years now, and it has been a game changer for my acne-prone skin! However, it can make your face really dry, so I recommend following up with a good moisturizer. As someone who has struggled with acne my whole life, I have nothing bad to say about this product; it has significantly reduced my breakouts. I still experience some acne monthly due to my period, but it's nowhere near as bad as it used to be!

I have sensitive skin and this is the only face wash that helps keep my acne away and when I do get a breakout from stress or anything it helps clear it up fast.

My dermatologist recommended this product and gave me a sample to try. I have ordered it and really like to way my skin looks and feels. Will continue to use. The formula and ingredients are great and makes my skin glow

I wanted to love this but as someone with sensitive skin, it caused my skin to burn and become really dry. I did like the light scent and how it lathered but it just wasn't for me personally.

This product has menthol for some reason, which really irritated my eyes, when when keeping the wash away from my eyes. It also seems to have irritated my skin / initiated a breakout.

I started using this in hopes of helping my acne-prone skin. However, I started using it and developed hives and a rash. Super sad because this stuff is expensive!!

this cleanser is part of my everyday skin care routine. i decided to purchase from walmart this time bc it shipped faster than other places. the product arrived damaged and with a huge sticker across the entire front of the tube(appears to from a warehouse where it shipped from.) i couldnt even see if this was the item i purchased without scraping the sticker off. now there is a sticky nasty lookimg residue left on the bottle from the sticker. not only that the lid is busted and wont close or stand upright as it is meant to without leakimg cleanser out everywhere. im am so disappointed in this purchase. when i spend this much on a face cleanser i expect my item to arrive undamaged. im hate that i cant teview this item for how good it really is( i know from my previous purchases elsewhere) because the seller totally screwed that up for LaRoche-Posay.!
