LapGear Lap Desk, Fits 15.6" Laptop, Black

Not the most attractive lap desk, but it gets the job done. It holds my 15 inch laptop just nicely. It also makes a great writing surface. Plastic construction with bean bag type padding underneath.

I am very pleased with this lap desk. It is light weight, has padding underneath on each side, is comfortable. Someone else reviewed it and said it was slippery; I don't find that to be true. My legs used to get hot with my laptop on them. This desk has solved that problem.

This is a good sized lap desk, not too big. Stores easily, out of the way, and serves it's purpose. It is comfortable and makes working form anywhere easy. Makes it easy to use your laptop from bed, or your couch. Just what i was looking for and much cheaper than some others I found

Just received it today, but I like it a lot. Has cushions on the bottom (comfortable) and it's wide enough to sit on my lap even with my legs opened wide. These were my two greatest desires. Has a whole at the top to carry it and a 4.8inch lifted section to prevent book from sliding down.

I wanted something for my 85-yr-old father to have to hold his dinner plate because his hands shake. While much lighter than I expected, I think it works nicely. Having it so light is probably a good thing to allow him to easily lift it from beside his recliner. Happy with the purchase.

Was not able to receive. Surprisingly, the item was returned to seller because it was not able to be delivered. Even though I had provided Walmart with detailed instructions for delivery, including gate code, this information was evidently not provided to the seller. I went online to inform of delivery info and it still didn't work. The item was returned and I did receive a refund for the purchase price. While store delivery works perfectly well, it was disappointing that an outside seller was not able to complete delivery. The item appeared to be what I needed, but I ended up ordering a similar item from another vendor.

Nice lightweight design. Buuuut... lip doesn't quite hold my laptop, it slips off. It is ideal for a lap desk. I find I am using it to do my crossword puzzles and writing out my bills. I had hoped it would keep my laptop cooler, but that isn't the case either.

Very cheaply made. It never stops heat from reaching laps which makes this a useless item. The cushion given at the bottom just compresses and becomes almost flat. This is the state with my 13 inch HP light weight convertible laptop (one of the light weight available laptops). So, this product will be more useless for other widely used mid range laptops.

The surface area fits a laptop upto 16" but it flexes a lot because its made of thin plastic and the fill on the underside in the attached leg pillow feels like little styrofoam balls which get hot pretty quickly on top of my legs after short periods of use. Once those little balls settle on your legs, you start to feel the sides of the lapdesk digging into your skin. I have been finding that I fidget a lot when I try to use it vs. just putting my laptop on my legs. This might be a better option for smaller laptops and tablets but for someone that has a heavier laptop like a MBP, I dont feel its the best option.

This lap desk is too small and flimsy for my 14" Dell. While there is one no slip strip the rest of the desk is slippery %26 hard. There is nothing to allow for ventilation either. The bead fill bolsters are barely filled and really do nothing. They did not raise the laptop to a comfortable height. I wish Belkin would bring back the Cushdesk. Perfect design.
