Mainstays Blackout Grommet Single Curtain Panel, 1 Panel, Gray, 40"W x 95"L

This is a good product for the price quality of thickness isn’t as good as others but what I expected for $11 a panel I would suggest buying it if finances are tight and you need something it helps Pictures show how much light it keeps out, specifically when the sun is shining directly into this room. Also the underside which is black.

I was looking for something to help with the sun in my family room. I have blinds up but they do not do much for blocking the light coming in….. Trying to watch tv on a sunny day is nearly impossible with the glare. Decided on these. Fabric is soft and looks like satin. Thicker than I expected which is a plus. I got the black and wasn’t looking for a true blackout curtain. SOME sun does still shine through but I don’t want a completely blacked out room, bedroom sure, but not for my family room. These are perfect! The picture shows how all that all the light from the sun is now hitting the ceiling above instead of my tv.

We bought 3 different curtains; two Mainstays %26 1 SunZero. My intention was to purchase all Mainstays brand, however, my partner went to the store %26 bought SunZero. Both are great. We are using them to close off the living room while using a portable ac. It makes the room dark and hopefully works as intended. If you want blackout curtains for you bedroom the Mainstays curtains will do the job. I purchase the Walmart brands whenever possible. Their products for the home are well made and last. I will always recommend their brand!

There's no where you can find this quality for this price. No matter the color, they blackout the windows. I bought them for every window in my home, and it lowered my electric bill. I highly recommend them!

Draperies are OK. They're straightforward they hang nice. I don't think they're real good material but they're OK. They do the job. They are not black out completely. My husband works overnights and we just moved into a new place with much larger windows than the old place, so we can't use our previous blackout curtains. I saw these and was excited they had them big enough. To our disappointment though, these are NOT black out curtains. They are thin fabric, black curtains. They don't block out the light as needed. If going for a goth style, these are great. If going for the nocturnal life, these aren't it.

The material is a good quality, however, the color on the picture and what I received is different. I expected a navy blue color but received a color that was lighter than shown.

Two things wrong; first, with the Black backing the drapes are a Dull white☹️ Second, the fold lines do not iron out! Guess it’s like the ol saying “ you get what you pay for” applies with these drapes!

Are these curtains? Yes. Are they blackout? No. They still let in a ton of light and are so thin that I don’t see how they are even advertised as such. They’re also narrower than the description which is a letdown as I ordered these specifically to give just a little extra on the sides of my larger windows and now i find myself with a gap and a delimma. Return and get all new? (I ordered several of these) or get two more panels as my larger windows are not fully covered… sigh. You get what you pay for.
