LapGear MyDesk Lap Desk, Fits 15.6" Laptop, Rose Quartz

Love having this table on my lap. Being disabled, I spend a lot of time in recliner to keep legs elevated and I can now write cards, letters etc and most of all I do my Diamond Art with a little easel on this lap desk!

I love this laptop. Very lite weight. I did add a non skid cloth to the top.

I bought this for my aging dad. He uses it for a food tray.

perfect for my kids to do their schoolwork while sitting on the couch.

It is comfortable and easy to use.

The Lap Desk works great for me when I am working in my easy chair. The only improvement I would like is a little higher stop to keep the laptop from sliding. Otherwise it would be a 5 star rating. Good value.

Overall, this is a good lap desk. it's light weight, padded to be comfortable underneath, and not too large to use well. There is a small raised bar along the middle of the side closest to me that stops things from sliding off into my stomach. I've used a keyboard for my tablet, and two paper notebooks. The bar is useful, but can get in the way when I write. I happen to tirn my wrist sideways to write, in the same manner as most left handed people I know, even though I'm right handed. When I do that, the bar stops my notepad from sitting comfortably. But at least the corner of the notepads don't dig into my front. The two dips at the top barely fit my phone. Mine has a case. Unlike the picture here, no tablet will fit. The dips are too narrow from eight to left. And the way the dips are shaped (one side deeper from front to back than the other side), my phone sets at a crooked angle. No full sized writing or art pens/pencils would fit in the dips, either.

It will work when I am using my laptop.

The tray is small, probably meant for children instead of adults, and is made of very light and cheaper plastic.

I bought this based on my experience of buying a different brand earlier in the year. I did not realize that the current version of this product was different than what I had acquired previously. This item is incredibly lightweight and just comes across as being very cheaply made. Very disappointed.
