Lasko 16" 1500W Designer Series Oscillating Ceramic Space Heater with Timer, Beige, 6405

We purchased one of these about 5 years ago from Wal-Mart. It still works! It works great, is quiet, like that it oscillates, you can set the timer %26 the temperature. Example, if you set it for 70 degrees, it shuts off when it reaches that temperature in the house. After that, it will come back on when the temperatures goes below 70 degrees.

I bought it but I had to return it because it was my own fault I needed something that put out a lot more heat like in a cold garage setting but if you're using this in the house then it would be perfect. it is very beautiful though I did notice that

This is my second Lasko model of this exact variety. I like it because it has an excellent thermostat and great durability. My first one I bought three years ago and it has been a 24 hour use over that Kentucky Winters. I bought this one as a backup, thinking one of my other electric room heaters might go out… And it just did. So the second one is now in constant use as was the first, which is still humming right along after 3 1/2 years of four months 24 hour day work.

Second one of these that I bought because the first one lasted for almost 8 years and then the buttons on the top went out on it. Heats the downstairs of my apartment really well. Cuts off when it reaches the desired room temperature. Also, shuts off when tipped over (safety feature). Not disappointed with this product at all. Would highly recommend.

T This Lil' guy really can throw some serious heat!! I purchased this model a couple of years ago %26 was overly pleased with its output of heat %26 it's abilities. The thermostat settings are quite convenient %26 I use the timer so it will turn off at night while I'm sleeping. As there's no tipping relay to shutdown if 1 of the pets accidentally bumped it over or I possibly do while I'm sleepwalking my way to the bathroom or kitchen for a drink. I wouldn't even know while in that state of mind . The one thing I don't care for about this unit is the "beep, beep beep" Everytime you select a button, I could do without that noise. Also, there's no remote! so that makes it doubly annoying because you're forced to go throughevery setting that's before your desired selection. All in all it's a solid contender standing right up there with the bigger models. It's perfect for warming up the morning chill or for helping out with those spots in the home that just don't seem to ever be warm. it can easily warm up 150 -250sq ft room in no time. not from .a freezing unheated point though, it simply would take a bit longer - it'd definitely get the job done.

My first heater was ordered 7 years ago and it's working fine—no remote back then. My friend just ordered one and my daughter in law has one. I ordered another just in case I needed it.

The heater is very cute and heats up great! It's a cute addition to the area I'm using it in. It was a little more expensive than I'd typically spend on a heater, but it almost looks like a decorative piece.

I ordered this little heater because of the other good reviews and I would like to add my own praise for this product. For the money, it does a good job of taking the chill off any room that you set it in. It has high, low settings and you can set the temp you want it to turn off. It also has a feature where you can set it to turn off after 3 or 4 hours. It oscillates or not, whatever you choose. It is attractive and doesn't feel hot to the touch. Haven't gotten an electric bill yet, so can't say how much it costs to run...but we only use it when we're watching TV in the living room. Family members have paid good money for those infrared heaters, and I'd say this does just as good a job. Also, ordering from Walmart.com was easy and the home delivery was free and quick!

I had bought one of these great decorative ceramic heaters to warm a room in my house that is colder than the rest of the house. It worked great and it looked really good too. So good in fact that my daughter wanted it for her house and took it with her when she moved. I had to have another so I bought two of them. They throw a lot of heat, had a programable thermostat and they even oscilate back and forth. I highly recommend if you need a good heater to warm a fair size room.

I tried this out yesterday and for as small as it is, it certainly puts out a lot of heat. It stayed cool to the touch and is very easy to operate. I am sure this heater will take the chill out of the air in no time as I have my heat set on 68. I like that you can select temperatures instead of the usual low, medium or high settings that are on most heaters. I would recommend this heater to anyone that likes a direct heat source to warm up colder rooms.
