Excellent fan! I was skeptical on buying on some of the poor reviews, but I'm glad I did. Cools very good even on the lowest setting. Not loud at all!!!

It's big but not clunky. It puts out any amount of air you want (settings 1-4) and, best of all, you can set the timer (manually or via remote) anywhere from 1 to 7 hours.

Lasko has yet to figure out how to make a durable stand that goes with the weight of the blades and motor of a fan. Keeps dropping down

I've bought many fans, but this particular Lasko fan is one of my least favorite. The adjustable height mechanism does not work well and the fan keeps slipping down, so the height is not what I would like

The fan itself worked good. However, the stand on my fan would not stay up. It took me some time, a month or so, to assemble the fan. By the time I did, I realized the pipe/nut was defective as the stand would fall a few minutes after raising and tightening the nut. I contacted Lasko in hopes of getting this issue resolved, as I have several Lasko fans and customer service has always been superb when needed. This time I was told that Lasko has changed the quality of their stand/base and there was nothing they could do and advised me to return the fan. Although the fan is brand new, Walmart refuse to return because I don't have the box. If this is how Lasko treat their customers now…I guess I will have to find another reputable fan manufacturer. I believe customer service is EVERYTHING!!!!
