Lasko 42" Wind Curve Tower Fan with Ionizer, Timer and Remote Control, Gray, T42902, New

This is a well designed and constructed fan. Took me like 5 minutes to put together and start feeling the breeze. Perfect for tall beds and second floor apartments since it doesn't make vibration sounds at floor nor it makes windy sounds and looks elegant. If you are afraid of the dark the blue light that comes on with ion settings functions a night light. In my case i just put a sticker on it and that solved the problems. "i like to sleep in darkness" For wind pressure it generates well is well above other lasko fans and for sure better than the posers. if where you live is really hot this wont do, In that case you are better of with a square noise one. In overall this is a nice fan that will give a nice windy breeze without noise and looks great.

We have this fan in our living room. It's not the prettiest fan ever made, but it is powerful and cools extremely well. For the amount of air it puts out, it is relatively quiet. Can't even hear it with the TV on or music playing. Highly highly recommend!

Very quiet and cooling. Plan to use in lieu of AC as much as possible. Bought two fans and following week bought two more. Everyone in family wants one in their room. Best fans we ever bought. Wish remote control was a little bigger so we don't lose them. Otherwise GREAT.

This fan at times seems more like an A/C unit than a fan. The breeze from it is fantastic, and the wide arc of the oscillation feature, easily covers a great portion of the room. Being that I have several Lasko fans on in other rooms, the times that I have to turn my A/C unit on, is greatly diminished. This is by far the best Lasko fan of all the ones that I own.

This fan is really nice, it's tall so you feel the breeze higher than close to the floor. You don't need the fan blowing on the floor you need it on you. It's really powerful, I didn't think it would be. I was really surprised at how much of a breeze you get from it. I have it in my living room and it's perfect. Sometimes we have to turn it off because it gets cool. I would definitely recommend this fan even though it's a little pricey it works!

My husband was looking for a good stand up fan and we found this one on WM.com. This fan is quiet and puts out a lot of air. The remote is a real plus. We bought the xtended warranty also. For .97c to ship, this is certainly the way to go. Thank You Wal-Mart

I never thought a Tower Fan could be so efficient in cooling off an HOT Apartment, after reading the reviews on this Lasko , I thought I would take a chance and WOW! It not only cooled off the entire large living room space it also takes away odors of fish, broccoli with the Ionizer. I do own a portable Air Conditioning unit I used to Dehumidify the room but did not have to utilize the Cooling feature. I was just as comfortable just using the Lasko. It doesn't seem to just push the air around the room and I've tired just about every tall or short fan out there. Invest in this fan and you will not be disappointed. Assembly of the stand was not difficult at all. Had it up and running within 3 min top. One thing they could do, is to make the Vent adjustment more visible.

Cant say too much of the Ionizer. Coz i how do i evaluate the air i breathe in?? But as for the fan, i love it. It could have been a little quieter. But other than that its a nice product to have. The oscillation and wide reach and the even at the lowest setting its pretty nice.

I was looking for a tall slim tower fan that would last and wouldn't break the bank. I think this is one of the closest fans you could get to that. It's taller than your average tower fan which I loved, it's very quiet and I like the three speeds. The only thing I wish was better was the range that it oscillates - doesn't seem like it even oscillates 90 degrees.

Pros-This thing is seriously spacious, and tall. very beautiful design. was not loud at all. it was cool for the most part. cons-wasnt as strong as the $20 fan i purchased right afterwards. it didn't live up to the "cool" hype. that i've read. meaning, it did nothing for the heat. I would purchase this again if i had the money just to add some flow to a room if I didn't have a ceiling fan.
